Seaside by Blue Swell Vacation Rentals and Real Estate Sales

"We rented a property from Blue Swell on Hwy 30A. The home was very nice and adjacent to the beautiful beach. However, we were not given any access to the beach and this fact was not clearly stated in the rental description. Upon our first day after arrival, when we went to the beach, we were asked by security to leave because we did not have access wristbands. We contacted Blue Swell multiple times over a 4 day period and Blue Swell either a) told us they'd look into it but didn't call back, b) told us they were still looking into it and would call back, c) did not return voicemails, d) told us that the person responsible for getting the wristbands was at lunch, e) told us the office was closed and they were attempting to reach the office, and f) did not know why it was taking the office so long to issue their wristbands and that they had left messages for the office. On the fifth day, a manager called and said they had spoken to the office and assured us that someone was going to pick up wristbands in Panama City and deliver them directly to our rental. When asked, management indicated that it might take two or three hours, but someone was going there and directly to the rental. The wristbands still have not shown up after 6 hours. We were not able to enter or enjoy the adjacent beach for five days out of the seven day vacation. It's a shame that the rental is furnished so nicely, but a stay here is not ideal because there is no way to enjoy the beach. No access to the beach and the inability for management to provide service or even just be honest about the situation made the stay very disappointing."
