"I started doing my taxes with this company in 2016, the first couple of years were great but then came 2020… i had waited more than 3 months for it until I called them and they replied with “we’re sorry we made an error with your application” which was fine because humans do make mistakes and I did receive it towards the end of the year although the whole situation was inconvenient … then 2021 came around and the same thing happened…I was waiting for more than 3 months until I called them and their excuse was “im sorry I haven’t done your taxes yet i forgot because I been too busy”…imagine your waiting for your income tax to come in and then you call and they tell you that they haven’t even started the process yet…if you were too busy to do my taxes you should have told me from the get go I would have went somewhere else instead they completely neglected it, if I would have never called to check up on it, it would have never got done…everytime Lester did my taxes It went smooth but anytime someone else did it, it was a complete disaster, safe to say I will be getting my taxes done elsewhere from now on"

"I'm unsure how this business will continue to function. I've been doing my taxes with RTG for three years now. This year, the business model changed from online preparation to in-person visitation required. I was asked to make an appointment and scheduled it for 11:30 am today (2/23/2019). It's 12:55 EST and I still haven't been seen. Earlier in the day, I found that my assigned tax preparer is actually working at another job. Very disappointed that I was lied to. The change is uncalled for and has affected the previously outstanding customer quality of this business in a very negative way. I'm sad to say that I won't be bringing my business here next year or ever. Good luck. EDIT: As soon as I sent Lester a text message at 1:13 PM (see below) expressing my displeasure, he finally came out to see me. We had a few calm words and I wondered how I received a text from him indicating he was at his other job. As it turns out, he lied in the first text message. I looked past it for the sake of potentially repairing this relationship Lester then asked if I would still like to have my taxes prepared. I said yes and he asked for my paperwork. After looking at my tax information for a minute or so, he scooped up my tax documents, handed them back to me and said, "You know what? I won't do this today". So after wasting 4 hours of my time, after I drove 40 miles to support this man's business and family, after looking at my paperwork, Lester decided it was finally time to not provide a service that he had indicated he would provide. Shame on you, Lester. And please share extra shame for this man for taking the time TO TEXT MY SISTER to inform her that he had to turn me away. For the record, my sister can attest that Lester had completed her taxes in a total of 20 minutes. I didn't ask her to stop using Lester's business either, but I sure hopes she decides to see the flaw in this man's character and do just that. He mentioned to me that he was not bothered by me sharing how he treated me today and that his business would survive. Maybe it will, but I hope this review opens some people's eyes to the nastiness of how he treat's some people."
