Reviews of Inn At Camachee Harbor
"I made a reservation with deposit 18 days before the date needed. Called to cancel reservation 12 days before the date needed but no one answered the phone. No credit given, called again 5 days before the reservation dates. Only partial credit returned to my Visa. Never in 50 years of traveling all over the country have I had this happen."
"This continues to be our happy place and we simply love waking up to the gorgeous sunrise over the intercoastal and enjoying the sunset on the back deck looking over the marina. We have several favorite rooms and don't mind the stairs to enjoy the upper suites. Most have been lovingly upgraded and the location can't be beat. You are a quick uber ride downtown but can walk the bridge, to the beach or groceries. The kingfish grill is always a fave and Oddbirds for breakfast-yum! A new experience we enjoyed was Pesca and the the rooftop bar in the new Hyatt Place Vilano-incredible views! We catch the sunset cruise for the festival of lights every year with Florida Water tours and that remains a highlight for sure...just an incredible experience we enjoy returning to year after year-thank you again!!!"
"The unit was clean. The bathroom sink was so high I had to be on my tippy toes to use. Some of the towels were stained and no one at the front desk."
"Can we please talk about the fact that they are putting lock boxes on the thermostats? Never have I EVER seen this before and completely unacceptable that the temp was kept at 75 degrees in May in Florida! I literally felt like I was sleeping outside and with no “after hours”service we were MISERABLE alll night!! Tried sending an email with no response so first thing the next morning I went to the front office and was told they would only give me 10% off my room - I guess a whole night sleep was only worth $33 to them!! Ridiculous! Room 17 wasnt the greatest choice either as it’s RIGHT next to the front office and you can hear everything going on. Every time we walked through the lobby there was someone complaining about either being told they only had to book one night vs the two night minimum (which I was told I couldn’t get comp for the one night but I heard the lady at the front desk advising she would do it “this one time” for another gentleman) the room was decent (some staining on bedding and couches) and Great location but probably won’t stay here again for the service issues."
"We recently took a short boat ride to comachee harbor and stayed 2 nights at the inn. We stayed in room 12. The room was very nice. We enjoyed the two different levels between the bed(lower level) and couch/mini kitchen. The kitchen had a nice wine refrigerator, small sink, and large microwave. The designer definitely had boaters in mind as everything you needed for happy hour was there for your use. Cutting board/tray, tumbler, etc. The pillows were our only issue, too soft and fluffy for us.. But the bed was comfortable overall. It seemed like the room was recently redone and it was done well. (Please put something under the chairs on the deck to make them slide easier to get in and out. )"
