"The dental hygienist was terrific! She did great with my 17 yr old son. The dentist, on the other hand, was a bit uncommon. He happened by the doorway & stepped in the tiny room to show me the wisdom teeth in the x-ray. He commented that braces were needed. He stepped to my reclined son's head and, while still standing, told him to open his mouth. He mumbled a "mnn-hmm" and stepped back in the hall. I asked if there were any cavities. He looked at the hygienist for the answer. She hesitantly shook her head. He said, "No cavities." He then said,"we'll refer you to a surgeon for the extraction and see you when you come in for the braces. You're welcome." And then, he walked away. You can't make this stuff up! Two words: Medicaid Dentist."
