"I was a patient with Yarbrough Orthodontics for years. Going in, I was told that it would be difficult and more stringent process to fix my teeth as they were quite unaligned. However, through years of working, we had gotten to a point where because Dr. Yarbrough seemed unable to help me, he began to blame me for how his treatments weren't working. Along this time, my TMJ had gotten worse, which was surprising as I have found on google that orthodontists are meant to treat TMJ with mouth guards and such. Years with braces, being blamed for them not working as well as expected, I eventually got them removed. I assumed that everything was done, and that my teeth were as "perfect" as they could be with years of braces from an orthodontists. But when visiting my new dentist, who is also an orthodontist, they asked "have you ever had braces", my response was "yes", and they said and I quote "they did not do a good job", and then even my new dentist was able to recognize my jaw issues and TMJ, through an ordinary cleaning noless, so this brings into question how did Dr. Yarbrough not catch this through my years of braces."
