"First impressions are everything and 2 Tax Ladies first impression resulted in me leaving this one-star review. I called the office for the first time yesterday morning asking if I could schedule a consult. I was surprised when they provided me with an appointment time for today. I asked for a consult to see if one their accountants would be a good fit for my small business. I inquired, just to be sure if there would be a charge for the consult. I was advised yes, $125. I'm more than happy to pay an account their fees for the expertise and guidance. I however was a little surprised they charged for a consult considering my consult with two other accounting firms were free. The reason for my one-star review is a result of my appointment today. I arrived at the office 7 minutes early, I'm an early person and respect peoples time so I like to arrive early and am fine waiting until my scheduled time. I could hear a couple women talking in an office in the back. There was no one at the reception desk. I sat down and within a minute I was greeted. I provided my name and said I have an appointment. She seemed a bit confused, looked at the schedule book and said something to the effect that she didn't think that the person who I was scheduled with knew I was scheduled. She said she would give her a call to let her know I was here as she wasn't at the office. She returned to the room that she came out of. Five minutes later she came out and said that she texted her to let her know I was here. No other update was provided to let me know that she would be here in a given amount of time. I waited until 21 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The lady still hadn't arrived, and I didn't get any other updates confirming she was on her way and would arrive in a given amount of time. I walked back to the office where the woman were talking and told them I was leaving since the woman still hadn't arrived. The lady told me again that she texted her to let her know I was here and waiting. Still nothing to confirm she was on her way and/or when she would be arriving. I understand life happens and emergencies happen, but I was given no indication that there was any type of emergency that kept the woman I was scheduled with to not be in the building at our scheduled appointment time. Nor did I get any indication that she was on her way. I would also be fine with waiting the 21 minutes if the woman was in the office with another client. I realize that appointments run late at times. 2 Tax Ladies had the opportunity to redeem themselves by giving me a call to apologize and offer to reschedule but I received no call. So, my first impression is that they have no respect for their client's time, nor have an interest in taking on new clients. How could I trust them to handle my accounting needs timely when they start off in this manner. I hate to leave small business's bad reviews but when they are warranted I do. I was seeking a small business accountant rather than a large firm as I like the more personal experience with a small business."

"This place was fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about them. Extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and was able to get in quickly. I had real estate transactions and retirement distributions so it just wasn’t a short form. Their price was amazing also. Seriously compare them to others. They even gave me advice for the next year. This is the first year that I have gone to somewhere other than H&R Block or doing them myself. I haven’t been to impressed with H&R Block recently because of new developments of being retired and such. They weren’t very knowledgeable about retirement distributions and actually filed something wrong the first year. Then they couldn’t even find my taxes from last year and I can’t pull them up on my computer either. I WILL be switching for GOOD"
