"I went to Tax’s house for I think five years each year it got more expensive to file with them, last year it was around $450 to file a simple 1099 self-employed tax return. my tax preparer was Ana Clara and I would say she did a good job always got back to me when I had questions. but this year they wanted $100 retainer fee so I said I will try to do it myself with TurboTax!! It was easier then i imagined. it took me 1 hour! to complete. I urge everyone if you have a simple self-employed 1099 or 1040 return try to do it yourself with TurboTax. It’s a lot cheaper.!! I only was charged $100 and got back a pretty good refund. Have a great day."
