"Went in to get our taxes done. I asked multiple times about a specific alternative calculation which I was told by Elizabeth Wilson our "Master Tax advisor" (and I use that term loosely) was not possible, only to find out it most definitely is possible and she didn't do her job correctly. She answered a question incorrectly without asking us which cost my wife and I hundreds of dollars and hours of headache. After finding her mistake my wife immediately reached back out to her and Elizabeth was confused when my wife explained what she had done wrong. Elizabeth then informed us we had to file an amended return but only after paying the IRS money we do not owe them. We made an appointment to come in to do that amended return only to be told that she was way behind and at least an hour away from being able to see us. Why would we not get a call informing us of this ? Total lack of appreciation of our time as well. I highly suggest using a qualified CPA and not this branch of H&R block and or more specifically Elizabeth Wilson."

"Failed to submit my taxes to the IRS last year. I received some very scary letters and a pathetic "apology" phone call from HnR. Not worth a single cent of the hundreds of dollars it cost me. BUYER BEWARE don't want to catch a federal case with a technologically illiterate accountant."

"I was unhappy with HR Block. I'm not a good tax payer in that Covid screwed up my taxes and the IRS lost my paper return. Every since my divorce and covid I just don't have time working 60 hours a week to get my taxes right and file on time. The IRS lost my return in 2021. It took me 2 years to fix with senator Rubios help. I went to HR Block and they just said no, no, no we can't help. I know 90% is on me. But it just was a negative experience. I showed them I needed to file 2021 and what the senators office told me to do after 2 years of clearing it up. HR Block just didn't make me feel like they cared. Just like it was all my fault. Anyway I'm going to a smaller mom and pop tax company"
