"The experience at Lake Jesup Dental with the Hygienist and Doctor was exceptional. Janelle is the best hygienist I’ve seen in 50 years!! She is to be commended for her work from the beginning of the visit right down to the minute I walked out of her cubical. Giving 5 stars in my book..for her outstanding work! the Doctor I saw was exceptional too! I had some confusion with some medication that I have to take before cleanings but the Doctor reassured me that it will not happen again. Thank you Lake Jesup dental."

"I love this place. The dentist, dental hygienist & reception are welcoming, organized & professional. They do virtually pain free, beautiful work. I recently had a root canal & a new crown. Came in today and got my permanent crown and it’s beautiful. I’ve had root canals in the past at other places and honestly, I was in and out in about an hour, give or take, no pain whatsoever. That seems more than reasonable & I was very happy. The facility is clean and state of the art. Everyone is pleasant, from receiving area to the back. Finally, the pricing is reasonable. I’m so glad I’ve found them!"

"I had my first visit with this Practice on Nov.15. The Office Staff were very welcoming and warm. This added to my comfort, the warm fuzzy feeling. I appreciate it for being a small practice of 2 Experienced Dentists with the state of the art dental technology from the most extensive and thorough X-rays taken, the Oral Cancer Screening, and the explanations of each step of the visit. I was extremely impressed by their caring and attention to detail. The Billing Personnel came in to discuss the Insurance Responsibility and Patient Responsibility, Lindsey was a very pleasant person. In addition, I met with the Dentist, herself, Dr. D. Desravines, she was soft spoken, pleasant and thorough in her examination. I brought in my dental guard from having had dental braces previously, in my adult life, they were generous to examine them, thoroughly cleanse them. and adjust the profile of then for a better fit. I am appreciative of the care and concern for me. Yvonne, The Dental Hygienist, Yvonne, was very welcoming and conducted all the procedures from X-Rays to Oral Cancer Screening to Cleaning to Irrigation. Very pleasant, thorough and able to enjoy my stories and jokes. I would definitely recommend this Dental Practice."

"I wanted to share my experience with LJ Dental in case it helps someone else make an informed decision. I had deep gum cleaning at a different dentist prior to this year (2023) to treat for gingivitis. When I received a flyer in the mail from this dentist offering a new patient special (I was a couple months overdue for a cleaning), I called and made an appointment wit no hassle. Once I arrived, they did a check up on my gums and at that point, said that they looked good enough to start on a regular teeth cleaning only every 6-months, but because I had my gum cleaning at a different dentist, that they wanted me to instead, be treated with the gum-cleaning maintenance (which instead of an new patient special, would've cost almost four times the price) They also let me know that because of wanting to switch to the higher priced appointment, that they didn't have time to see me that day and that I would need to reschedule. This was all due to me having gone to a different dentist; not because I actually needed the treatment (as per the dentist's admittance). At that point, I had spoken to someone asking if I could schedule for the cleaning only, because I didn't feel it was worth paying 4x the cost due to a protocol if I didn't actually need the more expensive treatment at the time. They said that they would discuss the option and give me a call. They never called back, so instead, I called the office 3-4x over the span of a few months and each time, I got the same response, "we will talk to the dentist about your request and get back to you". Finally, I decided to call one more time explaining my situation and the need to get scheduled. They agreed to allow to come in for a cleaning (omitting the more expensive treatment). I happily agreed and came at my scheduled time only to find that the hygienist came out after checking my teeth to let me know that they were unwilling to provide the service agreed upon, and that the cost would be even more than the original cost because it had been so many months that they needed to also include another dentist exam. This was highly dishonest to agree to one service, then when I arrive to attempt to charge me for a more expensive service and refuse the original service. At best, this was extremely poor communication from this dentist leaving the patient extremely dissatisfied due top wasted money and time (I had to take off from work for the appointment, of course). At worst, this was a very shady and dishonest business practice in order to squeeze more money out of paying clients. Lake Jesup Dental, if you read this, please understand and commit to better care of your clients in the future. I would have loved to have been your regular client moving forward, but the ball was dropped on your end too many times for me to feel comfortable trusting you with my business."
