Family Dental at Wildlight

"My experience at family dental was about as bad as it could go. After Paying in cash and having to go 3 out of 5 days to have my teeth put back in over and over again they got upset with me because I was upset I had to go to the dentist every other day. They are very immature and ask me not to come back. I will gladly honor that request and take my business elsewhere now I fear everyday about my partial coming out because it come out so much before. I can only hope that it will last and stay in properly. To All who is considering going to family dental I would think twice about the inexperience that they have there. They did make sure and ask me to give them a 5 star rating Which I done but when I did give the rating is when they ask me not to come back."

"First off, very nice location, clean facility, lots of privacy between rooms. Receptionist staff were helpful, professional, and kind. My dental hygienist, Idalmis, was high energy, super friendly and fun! She did a great job speeding me along the X-rays and images, and then a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth. I felt comfortable and taken care of, Idalmis knows her stuff! My dentist, Dr. Baker, also had that positive high energy, she identified two problem teeth, had a plan, was very confident and explained it all very well! So happy to find my new hygienist and dentist! I highly recommend this place."

"Really disappointing customer service. I called and scheduled an appointment as a new patient. The day of my appointment, I realized I hadn’t received any kind of confirmation. I decided to call because I had childcare lined up for the afternoon so I could attend my appointment. I’m glad I called, they had canceled my appointment because of their failure to put my phone number in the system and had no way to contact me. When making the appointment for both my husband and myself, I gave them two separate phone numbers as well as an email address. They were willing to reschedule me for two months out! NO THANKS. Wish they would have been more accommodating for THEIR mistake. Updating since my last review…. I’ve decided to keep my review at 1 star. After leaving my original review the office manager called to speak with me. She was quick to pass blame on the hired answering service that failed to obtain my contact info. She informed me that the answering service had been fired and everything was now being done in house rather than outsourced, but took little to no responsibility for the mistakes. Anyway, she was able to squeeze me in for a cleaning. Since I was behind schedule on my cleaning, I decided to give Wildlight Family Dental one last shot. Not a hour after I got off the phone with the office manager, someone else called to cancel the appointment I had just made. We got it worked out… meanwhile, the office manager requested my dental records be sent over from my previous dentist. She provided me with an incorrect email and after two failed attempts to reach anyone by phone, I gave up worrying about it. The office contacted me the day before my scheduled cleaning requesting these records. I explained the situation to the receptionist, which she clearly didn’t agree with because she abruptly ended the call. I arrived to my appointment in which I witnessed an older gentleman being turned away for a missed confirmation and then rescheduling him for 4 months out. It was absolute insanity from the beginning and I should have never wasted my time with this office. If I could review the hygienist and doctor alone I’d give them 5 stars. Since I’m rating the overall business, I’d give 0 for the office management and staff. The office manager kept her back turned to me the entire time I was checking out. The other office girls were short and dismissive of my questions regarding my bill and services rendered even though I was respectful and polite. If you are looking for a corporate dentist with terrible office staff, this is the dentist for you. They are operated by Heartland Dental, LLC which is also affiliated with Concourse Dental. I honestly feel bad for the hygienist and dentist for having to be rated so poorly because of the front office. The office is clean, dentist and hygienist are great, it stops there. I hope the dentist reads these reviews and can make appropriate changes to salvage their patients."

"First time user of Wildlight Dental services. I was taken on time for my appointment. Impressed with professional staff. Each step of initial appointment went very well. X-rays, blood pressure, cancer screen, gum evaluation. Attendants were courteous and knowledgeable. Work estimates were explained in detail and I liked that they showed both amounts. What my cost was and what the discount was. All around great experience for first visit."
