"I was referred to this organization to assist me with a diagnosis of TMJ, by my primary care physician. When I called for an appointment, I was assured that they could help me and set a day and time, only to find out when I got there that they did not treat TMJ at all and my 40 minute drive to get there and my 30 minute wait before going in to see a dentist only to be told they could not help me was a total waste of my time. The scheduler who assured me that they could help lied to me. No misunderstanding of my situation was involved. I made it quite clear what my situation was. They got me in there to bill my insurance for an office visit, X-rays under false pretense. Would never recommend this “factory”."
"Aspen dental has been by far the best place i’ve been to. The staff is super friendly and makes sure you’re comfortable. If I could give them more stars I would. I 100% recommend them to anyone."
"If I could give negative stars I would. Came here in March for a new patient evaluation. Staff seemed nice enough, Dentist was also very nice, but one of the first things I noticed was how dirty things were. The X-ray machine had dust all over it, the chair covers look like they’ve never been wiped down, it doesn’t look like they sweep at all. And then it got really bad because as soon as my X-rays were taken all of a sudden I had periodontal disease and an infection in a tooth, and my old crown needed replaced. Over $4000, and the billing lady bullied me into a “payment plan” which is just a credit card. I should have stormed off but it all happened really fast and I’ll be honest I’m quite naive to situations like this so I get the credit card and get the cleaning done that day. They send me home with this huge gift bag with an expensive electric toothbrush, set up my next appointment for the crown replacement and new crown and push me out the door. I get home and go over my breakdown of my receipt with my mom (who works in medical billing) and notice that they charged me $250 for the toothbrush that I didn’t need. Thankfully they did credit that back to me when I returned it to them at my next appointment but there was zero communication on pricing, you could tell they were hoping I wasn’t going to check and just keep the thing. The crowns took a couple appointments and that went over fine but when I noticed pain still after the initial two weeks of discomfort they said may happen my phone calls got ignored. So I decided to ignore the pain and it eventually went away, but now it’s back full force and I think something is wrong. Definitely not coming back here though, I’ll be finding a different dentist."
"This is honestly the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. When I called to set up an appointment the front desk knew I was in pain and got me in as quick as my schedule could work, and were very empathetic. Cindy was the lady that did my X-rays and was absolutely awesome! Her demeanor with patients is a quality you don’t learn, it’s just inherent. Dr. Patel examined me and put together a treatment plan for me that I felt was actually in my best interest and he had the confidence that what he was recommending reassured me that I went to the right place. Amy, the office manager was equally amazing in her role. Reviewed, detailed, and scheduled all appointments. Typically people don’t look at a dentist office as a positive experience, but I can certainly say that every interaction was great. Great company, great staff, and I feel comfortable going to the dentist again!"
"One star reviews are not something I do very often but this calls for it. I came to Aspen dental despite the things I’ve heard because it’s covered with my insurance from work and close to my work and home. Conveniently located enough. I scheduled for my wisdom teeth to be removed and I was really unwavering about being sedated for the removal because I have an impacted wisdom tooth. I’ve had a bad experience with a removal and that’s why I wanted to be out completely. They didn’t listen to me. Rushed to schedule me for a pill sedation to have the teeth removed. I was told and reassured multiple times by the dentist before I left that day it would be quick, painless and I’d be back to work and healing soon. Guess what? I’m in an excruciating amount of pain as soon as he begins. I screamed and cried for him to stop only to have hands put on my legs and shoulders to “keep me from moving around too much.” Probably the longest 5 minutes of my life, losing breath crying in pain. The dentist then stops not because of me crying or thrashing around in pain for what’s supposed to be “just pressure” and says to me “I’m going to stop now, I can’t get the other teeth and I don’t wanna have you in my nightmares screaming.” How professional and comforting. That was a week ago. Now because I still have teeth to be removed dealing with the office manager was a completely different nightmare. She’s constantly talking over my questions and literally on her phone instead of helping me process the care credit. Yesterday I was in the office two separate times just trying to add a payment method to my profile for care credit. I got so frustrated because she repeated the same thing over and over not being at all helpful. I ask her to stop so I can leave the office. The office manger and who ever else works at the desk is not on the same page at all. One of them tells me something and it doesn’t get noted in the system so the next time that I talk to someone they have no idea what your talking about and they tell you no your wrong. I will never go to another Aspen Dental, this is a terrible set of people. Initially, they’re so nice promising you that you’ll feel better and all they do is run up a giant bill to send to your insurance tell you that you’re wrong and put you in immense amount of pain. 25 October 2023 After a reply was posted 3 weeks ago I waited for someone to reach out to me and nothing. How am I supposed to get in contact with anyone from aspen dental with out calling the office that won’t take my calls for supposedly damaging the broken door I opened too fast? Called corporate and still not able to get an answer. Aspen is not with the trouble and headaches. After the response here I never had anyone reach out over the phone, not a text or email. Nothing no mail. Just the bill."
