"They will use unprofessional tactics to charge you incredible prices on everything…. Went for a cleaning they asked me if I wanted X-rays first. I assumed that was necessary as part of the process but no they did 18 photos for 140 bucks then tried to tell me I needed a consultation with the dentist, another hundred something, the hygienist then stated I needed (prior to said consultation) a deep clean 4 sessions for 249/ session. I stopped them and said no, paid for the X-rays and left…. When to Backbay Dental for a second opinion they gave me a free visit and said I needed a standard cleaning there was only minimum plaque no big deal…. Riverdale Dental is dishonest and only cares about $$$. Go check out Dr.Chumbler at Backbay Dentistry he runs a great office!"

"3rd dentist I tried since moving here 2 1/2 years ago and they had a scam going just like the others. Feb., 2023 cleaning at their N Cleveland Ave, North Fort Myers location was the usual although between the hygienist's mask, face shield, foreign accent, and mumbling I couldn't understand anything she said until what happened below occurred. The male Latino dentist whose name I don't remember then examined my teeth after the cleaning and told me I had 5 cavities on top of my teeth! Now I've had 5 cavities my whole long life so this was surprising to say the least. Unbelievable was more like it. NOW the hygienist could be clearly understood as she quickly presented the treatment plan for them: $925 without insurance. $925 of my hard earned dollars. $925 I didn't have. She also said the cavities weren't critical and I could get them filled over several visits and could wait as long as 6 months to do it. Fast forward to 8/1/23 and my new 4th dentist elsewhere said I DIDN'T HAVE ANY CAVITIES ON THE TOP OF MY TEETH. ZERO. NONE. NOT 5. ZERO. SAVINGS OF $925. SAVINGS OF TIME OFF FROM WORK TO GET THEM FILLED. Obviously I highly recommend you not patronize this dental practice or if you do, get a qualified second opinion elsewhere on any extra treatments they say you must have. I love my new 4th dentist elsewhere and will never go back to Riverside Dental."

"Dr Alexandra Zabala agreed to see me as a new patient while in N. Fort Myers. The crown on a dental implant detached, and I was able to retrieve it. My dentist in NY said I needed to get to a dentist right away to avoid the adjacent teeth from closing in. Dr. Zabala took me right in, evaluated the abutment, called my NY dentist to make sure he was in agreement with the repair details, and then reattached the crown. I have had a lot of dental work over 6 decades. Dr Zabala and her entire office staff were, like my NY dentist, very professional, very friendly, and remarkably accommodating to get me back to normal. They deserve more than 5 stars.
