"Dr. Mesia and his team are amazing! I called as a new patient with an emergency and they fit me in within the hour and fixed my chipped tooth with no pain. They double checked to make sure everything was covered under my insurance before doing any work."
"I called to cancel an appointment in January because my daughter was in the ER at SMH with a life threatening diagnosis and was there for 4 days, then apparently missed a dental cleaning that was scheduled for me for which I received no reminder call, email or text of any kind, and now they are completely refusing me as a patient because, and I quote, “I did not take my treatment seriously”. Not very understanding or helpful for “family” dentistry. Do NOT recommend if you foresee LIFE happening to get in the way of your appointments at all ever."
"I do not recommend this practice. Went in May of 2021 to have crowns done after a root canal. Was given a document that had the insurance breakdown and what I needed to pay before the service could be done. I paid my part of it so the crowns could be made and put in. The crowns arrived and I made an appointment to go in and have them put in but they were only put in with temporary cement. 3 visits later still never did the final placement and when I declined their dental maintenance plan they stopped calling me back so I had to go elsewhere to have the job finished they wouldn't do. A year later I get this random bill in the mail for 587.40 I call and ask what this is for because the bill didn't say. The gal that answered didn't know and said she would research and call me back. A month goes by and I get a call and they said it was for some insurance check still no clue as I paid my part. She became very defensive and said she was going to send me to collections if I didn't pay this 587.40. I said I am not paying for something that the insurance should've sent. 2 weeks later I get a bill from a collection agency and now the balance due is 859.10. I called again asking why is it now 859.10 still couldn't give an explanation. If I owe something fine show me the proof and explain it but now they won't even talk to me as they sent it to collection. I have documents that show I owe nothing and I have an EOB showing I owe nothing. When you add up the totals of the amount of money there were given vs what was billed they owe me money. Very shady business so beware and make sure you keep all of your documents because you may need them to have collection items removed from your credit report."
"I am very big on first impression tells you a lot about a person how they are to a complete stranger. Tho I didn’t get the chance to actually meet the dentist himself I did get to speak with Debbie briefly. I made a new patient appointment, cracked wisdom tooth and infection from that tooth. Appointment was set but the day of my appointment my baby sitter canceled on me last minute. Mind you I have 4 kids all under 5...I wasn’t going bring all 4 kids to the appointment it just wouldn’t of been possible and was thinking about other people that would be there like staff members or patients who don’t want to have to worry about a screaming toddler or a crawling baby get into everything. So unfortunately I had to put myself last and cancel. I was very upset I had to cancel again tooth infection needed to be seen but when I told her I had to cancel but wanted to reschedule immediately she told me “You can just call us when you get everything figured out.” I told her “I said I would like to reschedule ASAP.” Her response “Well we set aside time for you today.” I had to explain again “I am sorry I understand but this isn’t something I can control I have 4 kids.” She then proceeds to say not in a very friendly tone either “when do you want to reschedule.” I told her “You know what never mind I do not want to reschedule and hung up.” Just that first impression turned me away from a place that probably has a awesome dentist. But because Debbie didn’t show understanding or Friendliness that is a office I can’t put money into. Now you lost not just me as a patient but my husband and my 4 kids so you lost all that money from a poor attitude. Your time is just as valuable as mine, I took a day off for a appointment I lost money because my sitter canceled on me. All while you’re working making money be more considerate of others show understanding and some dang manners! What happened to respect?"
