"We chose Four Winds based on a close friend's having stayed here, AND the unit was beach front. Surprised and delighted to find on arrival that Beach front means exactly that - about 50 ' to beach loungers, umbrellas and tables Water's edge was about 75 yards from the chairs. Excellent beach. Our unit is dated in furnishings, but clean, adequately appointed for our needs, with a great staff to support. Pool was right next door, unguarded, but parents and grand parents were doing the supervision quite well. Noise rules strict. New Publix(loved it) and CVS within 100 yards and 1 stop light away. Every restaurant we visited was really, really good. Expect to pay $$+ for outstanding meals. We enjoyed our stay and would come back. October weather was warm and dry. I'll do an update after we check out. SteveC 10/9 - update - my only comment re: unit accommodation would be to add grab bars in shower/baths as a safety measure. Overall, we would come back, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Rate from me 4 1/2 stars."
"While it is an older facility, the efficiency unit was clean and very comfortable. The grounds are well maintained.The beach is clean/beautiful and has newer umbrellas and chairs. The pool is large and fun. The staff were great to interact with and really seem to care about their guests."
