"Staff was nice, the doctor was very informative and pleasant. First impression when walking in, the office can use some upgrades and better cleanliness compared to other offices in the area. Prices seem higher as well. We went because they were able to fit us in but I will continue with another nearby dentist in the area."
"Really great people, I had a dental emergency and they made me feel at ease from check in to check out. Highly recommend this very efficient & caring office. I’m actually looking forward to seeing Dr. Myrtle & my hygienist Doris again. Allie reassured me through a tough extraction! Heather made obtaining care credit to get my needed procedures very quick & explained everything. The dental assistants were training on BLS that day, as an RN I feel confident they would save my life! From the condition to the expense, going to the dentist is usually a painful experience. The Team at Aspen made both painless today!"
"I came here because i was having some tooth pain, I was scheduled quickly and was seen by a hygienist first thing because it was "mandatory" which means, we are going to try and sell you something. After getting looked at by the hygienist, the dentist comes in and proceeded to tell me that I was wrong about which tooth was hurting. I accepted that and there can be some interesting interactions between teeth and nerves. After that though, she told me that the reason I was having tooth pain is because I have gum disease and I would need a deep cleaning scaling treatment, also my wisdom teeth needed to come out because one was broken underneath and infected. After all of that I asked her what could be done that day about the pain I was in. Which leads me to the reason they get such a low score. The dentist said that antibiotics would help with the pain but that she would only prescribe them to me if I agree to and sign off on their treatment plan and use their oral surgeon to get out the wisdom teeth. At that point I smiled and agreed with them until they brought me out to the finance desk at which point I told them I needed to think about their proposal. I left and contacted another office, I went there and immediately they diagnosed the issue with the tooth that I said was in pain. There was a cavity under the filling I had gotten previously that struck the nerve. (Aspen dental in KY had filled that cavity and obviously missed some) The new dentist let me know that I would need a root canal, and asked if I needed help finding an Oral Surgeon. She didn't hold me hostage with pain, she didn't try to force me in to an overpriced plan, she instead told me, that she was writing a prescription right then with out me agreeing to anything else at their office. Aspen checked all the negative boxes for me, I won't be back."
"I was impressed with how friendly and efficient the staff was. Spencer immediately greeted me with a smile and got me in a room within 5 minutes. Dr. Myrtle made me feel so comfortable; after examining my teeth, she really took the time to sit down and discuss her recommendations, explain the procedure in detail, and answer all of my questions before starting treatment. Vita and Aly assisted Dr. Myrtle and were such sweethearts! I noticed they would anticipate Dr. Myrtle’s needs and already have the next tool available, so my 3 fillings were done really quickly. You can tell this team works like a family, and I appreciate feeling heard and cared about as an individual as opposed to just a number. Thank you to everyone who took care of me today!"
