Reviews of Mohamed Zaman
"My family has been going to Dr. Zaman for many years. We have all found him to be very kind, thorough, and skilled as a dentist. He has helped us all with emergency situations over the years, most recently, a broken tooth. He takes time to examine very closely and has always been diligent with his work and in answering any questions or giving dental advice. We would refer him to all our friends and family."
"I hate dentist, stemming from childhood and adolescent trauma from other dentist, that being said…. I love going to this office and won’t go anywhere else. The doctor and staff are always polite and professional. I was really shocked to see he only had 2 starts. You can’t please everyone, that’s just how business is but I have moved to Brevard country and still see this dentist. I hope he never retires."
"Worst experience ever! He broke my tooth taking out a wisdom tooth. He was yanking really hard to get the tooth out...which one would think would not have been that difficult for an experienced dentist. And because of the now broken tooth I had to get a crown which was not cheap. And prior to the crown I was referred by his office to Dr. Mark Dreyer for a root canal. His office charged me a $100 fee for an x-ray, even though it was already identified which tooth was affected. He seemed to drill in my mouth for days. And it was not a pleasant experience. And of course that cost me $100's of dollars...which I really didn't have. All of that and I had another tooth break about a month after going to both of them. Which I believe may have been due to all of the drilling. My teeth are so sensitive now, and I can barely chew on the left side now due to the still broken tooth. And my gums hurt all of the time now. And I had really good teeth & no in problems prior. The only reason I went to him was because my long time dentist Dr Bearden retired. Never again will I ever go back to let either one of them do any dental work for me. Again, Worst experience ever!"
"I went in a month ago to remove two molars. Did not feel a thng!!! Best dentist experience. I Highly recommend Dr. Mohamed. Don't know why it's a one star here. On Cigna"s website, he i s one of the highly recommended for having more experience and low cost. The whole team was very nice!!!"
"I did not have a good experience with Dr. Zaman. Although the office is outdated and small, that would not have bothered me if it had looked clean and well-tended, which it did not. He had no dental hygienist the few times I saw him and communication was at a minimum. I was shown my dental x-rays and he said I had 3 cavities and we discussed a schedule to have them filled. He then proceeded to clean my teeth with a metal tool, no flossing or polishing. The suction was left in my mouth for an uncomfortably long time and my jaw began to ache from having been open for so long. He did two fillings at one time, one of which felt fine, but the other one is completely flat, not contouring the ridges or valleys of my tooth and it drives me crazy every time I run my tongue over it. When my daughter went, she said he received a phone call in the middle of doing her filling, and he left her for approximately 3 minutes without taking out the suction and water, leaving her jaw aching from being open for so long. I went to another dentist, (whom I love!) to have my 3rd “cavity” filled, and it turns out there is no cavity! And before I went to this new dentist, I called Dr. Zaman’s office to request my x-rays, and was told they could not find them! What did they do, throw them away? Since my insurance only pays for panoramic x-rays once every 5 years, I had to pay out-of-pocket for a new set. I am not a review-writer, but I felt too strongly to not say something. Dental work is uncomfortable enough without having to be made more uncomfortable because of your mouth being left open too long or for your dentist to leave you in the middle of a filling for a phone call. And my medical history should be protected according to HIPAA, but who knows what happened to it due to the carelessness of Dr. Zaman."
