He uses a step by step approach starting with what the patient can do at home If possible. His charges are very reasonable, and provides discounts based on the patient’s financial ability. "I began as a patient 20 years ago and I am pleased with the services that I have received. The office staff is kind and considerate. Doctor Oberoi not only is competent, but on an occasion, about 15 years ago, when I had a financial problem, he was compassionate and allowed me to pay my charges over a couple of installments so I could continue to have my dental health cared for. Of course, there are different ways to cover charges today, but at that time, it meant the world to me to have a kind and compassionate dentist since I had recently experienced some major trauma in my life. "So first of all I want to say that I've waited 1 year to write this review. I wanted give it some time to see how their work held up. That being said, I am so disappointed by this dentist as well as his staff. I honestly can't say anything good about the experience that I had here. The staff in general including the dentist are not friendly, they walk into the room and don't even greet you. They just say open your mouth and get to work. I visited this office 4 times and only once did the dentist acknowledge me before he started working. The main dental assistant, an older woman with a very thick accent, is horrible. If you ask her a question she won't answer it. She gets very frustrated when you talk to her. Plus whatever she does say is very hard to understand because of her accent. One of my biggest issues with this dentist is they will tell you that you need to get stuff done that doesn't even need to be done. They told me I need a root canal and a crown which of course means big bucks for them, and every time I went there they hounded me about getting the root canal and crown. Literally every time, they were like " So when do you want to schedule your root canal". But I told them, I wanted to get a second opinion. Well I did get another opinion and turns out I just needed a filling. So basically this dentist is all about the money and they will make up problems so they can make more money off of you. Also, the work they do is not quality because less than a year later one of my fillings had chipped and the dentist left several of my other good teeth jagged and sharp and cracked. I ended up having to go to another dentist and spending $2000 just to fix the stuff that Dr. Oberoi messed up. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!! They are amateurs and they aren't even friendly about it. They only want your money."
