"Not everyone is excited to get their wisdom teeth extracted, but I sure am. I came to Radiant Dentistry in need of some dental work and a caring, compassionate team of professionals. This dentistry has delivered all of the above and gone out of their way to make sure that I am comfortable during procedures and that understand how and why each procedure is being done. In addition, the staff do not shame you for your dental history or the state that your teeth are in when you come to their office, which was very relieving to me as someone who has a history of dental anxiety. The dentist really knows his stuff, and is the only dentist who has ever taken the time to discuss the crystalline tooth structure with me. Further discussion revealed that he has excellent medical knowledge too, and was able to thoroughly answer questions that I had about any potential complications betweeen some dental procedures and pre-existing medical conditions. This was refreshing because as someone who works in biology, I like to see that the person operating on my teeth has a strong scientific and medical background. I have had some work done at this dentistry and have no complaints thus far. This is a great place to go if you have dental anxiety or are just looking for a great dentist to begin with. I reccomend this dentistry to every person that I have come across who is looking for a dentist in Gainesville, because they have earned my trust and respect. As for the wisdom teeth, I’m excited for them to come out because I know that a team of well-qualified professionals with my best interest in mind will be extracting them. Update: The wisdom tooth surgery went well! I have no nerve damage and experienced no anxiety at all during the procedure. I have major dental anxiety, so at first I was hesitant to try out “oral conscious sedation”. But something about Dr. Williams and his team made me feel that it would be alright, and I’m glad that I followed my instinct. Although I was conscious and aware throughout the entire procedure, I was not anxious or scared at all. They even helped to walk me out the door after the procedure! Dr. Williams and his staff are very attentive and they make sure that you are comfortable throughout the entire procedure. In addition, I opted to get the collagen dressings and although it’s probably too early to tell, I think they’re helping! Getting a little bit into the nerdy side here, I’m a PhD student in biomedical sciences and learned recently that the extra-cellular matrix - which is primarily made of COLLAGEN - serves as a scaffold for bone to form. As such, I think it was very wise of Dr. Williams to include the collagen dressings. Along with the fact that they greatly reduce your risk of post-surgical complications such as dry socket, I think it’s well worth the price. I’m glad now that I did the oral conscious sedation because I had the surgery at 8am this morning and I’m already able to type this review, instead of being stuck in a post-operative haze from general anesthesia. I mourn the day that I move away from Gainesville because I’d be losing the best dentist I’ve ever had."

"This place is fabulous. I started going here and I have a bad phobia with dentists. They said that they would have no problem taking me care of me that extra little mile that you got to go when someone is fearful of the dentist and they were not kidding. They went above and beyond the call of a dentist in my book everybody there is awesome Faith who does the financing and scheduling she is awesome she cracks me up she's so stinking funny and well he is wonderful he will shoot you with some novocaine and he has this special little tool that he uses I guess it sounds like a little shock wave through your gum and if you can feel it he does not touch you and if you still can't feel it he still won't touch you he will shoot you up with whatever he's got to do so you don't feel any discomfort when he pulled my tooth he said okay man we'll see you on your next visit I went don't you need to pull the tooth out and he went oh I already did that we're done that's like oh well okay then today's visit I didn't have to take any extra medication to help me through the visit I went on I went in on my own I was very proud of myself my dog is sitting here waiting for cookies while I'm talking to you cuz I was kind of late coming home LOL so I had another appointment and I am going to that appointment the same way I went to today's appointment and really if anybody out there could just get one thing that I have said out of this if you're fearful of dentists radiant dentistry is where you need to be because I wouldn't trust anybody else with my mouth so give him a call and let them help you through your anxiety of a dentist because you will be very very happy you did and yes I would buy this again LOL if any of this is misspelled or not the right words blame it on Google voice text. "Dr. Williams and his technical staff are exceptional. The office staff is in need of further training concerning customer service and general knowledge of how different insurance companies work. I’m usually faced with having them contact my insurance company and/ or have a member of the office staff consult with the person that knows how to look up insurance coverages themselves. Otherwise I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Williams to take care of your dental needs."

"All staff were professional, friendly & punctual. I was seated in the dentist chair at 11:00, the time of my scheduled appointment. I was there to have a cavity filled l. I first received a topical numbing ointment. After about 8 minutes, I then was given a painkilling shot. Dr.Williams and assistant fixed the cavity. I never felt any pain and I was out and taking care of business by 11:40."
