"Was told I could write a check and bring it when I have my appointment yesterday with Tim over the phone . My husband brings them the check today and was told sorry we closed our till for checks for the day ( they close at 6 )only cash or card or make the check out to a person on the team . Um that sounds very weird , no thanks , paying cash and asking for all receipts. This is why we don't like using them. When filing."

"My spouse & I made an appt after years of doing our own taxes free through turbo tax. We thought maybe we would owe a little less if we had a "Professional" do it. After the "Professional" punched in all the info into the same program we used for free, we were told that we'd owe $600 more then if we did it ourselves. So we did not file with H&R but they did still charge us $85 for wasting our time."
