"I have been using HR block for many years and I went to this location last year hoping to get my return filed correctly as I had a complicated tax issue. I ended up having to pay on my return that year, I had never had to do this in the past, but the person that did my taxes didn’t seem like she wanted to assist me. She seemed annoyed with us. She claimed that she had been doing taxes for many years. I trusted her because I had used the company previously and I thought I wouldn’t be steered wrong. She proceeded to give me a link to pay the irs online and told me to make the payment whenever I could. I proceeded to make the payment and apparently I paid for the wrong year. I understand this was my fault, but if they would taken the time to assist me in making the payment then it would have never happened. I found out about it months later when I got a notice from the irs. I contacted them and was told that it was too late to move the payment to the correct year and that my only option was to pay it again. This put me in a financial hardship for the last year because of it. I tried to call and speak with someone at the store and they said that there was nothing they could do that the only one that could do something was the irs. The company even blocked my number from being able to call them. I had to call from a different number to speak with them. Do yourself a favor and go to a real tax professional who will guide you if you have a complicated tax situation. I will not use them again in the future. Extremely disappointed in my experience."
