"I recently purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from another dealership and it was brought into Dayton Andrews for service. The service manager Angelique Rees was Amazing! She was responsive, thorough, kept me informed throughout the entire process. There ended up being a major mechanical issue with the vehicle which required quite a bit of coordination with the warranty company and another dealership. Angelique was my advocate throughout the process. I've never had a better experience with a car dealership."
"Really bad appointment. Went with a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. The Jeep Wave has 3 free of each. Not the case at DA. I’d never go back and I buy a new Jeep every 3 years, it won’t be there"
"Hate to leave a poor review as I have a family member who works for a dealership's service department and I know how much hell it can be. I brought my Jeep Wrangler in due to the ABS/brake warnings lights being on as well as needing a realignment, tire rotation, and oil change (12/8). I received a call later in the day stating that the ABS module would not be available until January 2024 and that they would need to keep the vehicle over the weekend to complete the other needs, which was fine as I work from home and could be without it for a few days. Come the following Wednesday (12/13), I finally hear from them after calling and leaving a voicemail. Now the ABS module won't be available until March 2024 and the other needs were still not complete, going on 5 days of the vehicle being there. The service advisor states they had a personal matter to take care of causing the delay, understandable - not a big deal. I okay (again) for them to do the realignment, tire rotation, and oil change. Later that day I was informed they could potentially have the ABS module in by the end of the week - great! I okay the estimate for everything to get done. Come Friday, I receive a message that my battery was dead (I don't fault them, I could tell the battery was getting weak prior to dropping off) and they offer to replace for $400 which seemed overpriced so I told them I would take care of it myself. At this point the vehicle has been there a week. I decide the following Monday (12/18) that I just want them to take care of the ABS module. Communication was poor and I needed my vehicle back sooner than later. Not hearing anything, I follow up Wednesday (12/20), still no ABS module in. Closing in on 3 weeks of my vehicle being there, I follow up the next day (12/21) and am told that the module is in and the car would be ready for pick up that evening. The severe lack of communication and how overpriced the module replacement ended up being (Around $1500, $600 for the part and $800 for labor) is why I am leaving a 1 start review. I was verbally quoted around $1100 for the ABS module ($600 for the part and $500 for the labor). The part varying in cost is something I could understand but undershooting their own labor cost by $300 doesn't sit well with me. For the battery, I went down the street to Advanced Auto, got the best possible battery for my vehicle with a 3yr warranty and new wipers for $290 ($110 less than just the battery at Dayton)."

"They have my Pacifica van for warranty service on the brakes and a few other things. They ordered or received the wrong part. Richard in service told me they would cover the rental we are in due to their mistake on Friday. I just got off the phone with him today on Tuesday and he said they will only cover 5 days, the brake part won’t be in until the 21st, so 9 days from now. That’s not including the 4 days since Friday. But they will put my van back together, with bad brakes, and let me take it home. Sounds so safe!! According to Richard, I can call Chrysler and open a customer complaint with them. Why is that my responsibility? So Richard in service wants me to take home a van, with bad brakes, possibly have my brakes fail while driving my 3 year old around, and crash, or possibly die…because they messed up and will only cover 5 days of rental. Think twice about getting service here. Unless it’s basic piddly stuff that’s not a safety issue. Ron, the service manager called me back. Told me they would only cover a week and then I’m responsible for the rest of the rental. When I told them I’m keeping my 1 star review, he tried renegging on ANY of the rental. After Richard said they would cover until fixed. This entire service center is a waste of space."
