"Things they should tell you at the door. 1. Swamped 2. Waiting for a call back might take days. 3. Their selected ( SHOP ) might not be able to detect certain issues.. ( certain parts can only be replaced by certified locations/dealerships ) Would I have left the vehicle anyway? ^ chalk it up to bad timing."
"I was hesitant on selecting this location due to the previous reviews, however im glad i gave them a shot. Our car was completed before the promised time, our rental was easily picked up and dropped off at location, and the staff kept us updated troughout the whole process. I can't speak for everyone that has had issues, however here's some things to consider: -They can't control supply shortages. There will always be times where a part isn't in stock, and it may take a little longer for them to get a hold of. -Sometimes, there's damanges on your car prior to the accident! For example, we had a issue with our trunk looking a bit weird, and we immediately assumed this missed by Gerber. However after looking at some pictures of the car when we first bought it, 4 years ago, the trunk looked the same! Overall, i would use this location again in the case i need to!"
"My wife was hit from behind and we had to use them in January unfortunately a part did not come when they kept our car for 5 weeks. They said that they would call us once the part came in and never called. We ended up calling them after the muffler started hanging again 3 months after they attempted to fix it and told them about the other part that they never called us about. It took us at minimum 3 more visits up there to get the car completely resolved. Wife was with out car for a total of 40 days plus. Owner finally felt bad and gave her a $50 gift card and said that he will send another $50 in the mail due to his techs not documenting correctly but it's been over 3 weeks since we last talked to them and still have not received it."
"My car was hit in a grocery store parking lot and their insurance sent me here for repair. They did an excellent job on the repairs but the communication wasn’t good. I signed up for text updates and received a text that my car would be ready the next day at 4pm. I called Gerber and she told me disregard that message they will call me when it’s ready, so I’ll have time to prepare to pick it up. The only reason I found out my car was ready because the rental car company called and told me to let my adjuster know I needed more days with the rental car. I texted my adjuster and He said looking online your car is ready. I called Gerber and they said oh it’s sitting outside it’s been ready for four days now. The manager called after I picked up my car and apologized for the miscommunication. Also, take pictures of the gas and mileage on your car before you get it fixed for your records."
"Gerber did a fantastic job matching the paint on my 2011 Mercedes SUV. It's black and shows everything and came out great. David, the General Manager, went above and beyond in customer satisfaction, addressed any questions or concerns that I had, and I felt like a valued customer with each interaction. Service was done promptly and finished ahead of schedule. On a personal note, my husband was out of town through the whole process and typical handles these things, but Gerber made the process very easy."
