"My husband and I went to H&R Block in Hawthorne on March 11, 2019 and paid to have our taxes prepared and filed, and paid an extra fee to pay our taxes owed with a credit card. The payment showed on our credit card that day. On June 3, 2019 we got our first notice from the IRS stating that they had not gotten our payment. H & R Block did not submit our information properly so our payment never got processed by the IRS. I have been trying to reach H&R Block since June 4 and nobody with any authority has called me back. Several messages have gone to my local owner, the district managers, and above. H&R Block says they have you covered, but they did nothing to help me fix the situation with the IRS. It took me two months and many, many hours and phone calls, but I finally got it resolved myself. They say they have your back but they definitely don’t when you need them."
