"What a terrible company I had $1700 worth of cooling system work done a few months ago at first it was going to be 2700 but I did some research and saw that they were trying to triple charge me for all the parts. I took it back because it smelled like coolant since they had done the work and it had been leaking he told me it was coming from a heater core hose that didn’t have anything to do with the work they did and wanted to charge me $500 to replace I was like whatever I ordered the hose and did it myself and realized that they had to take that hose off to get the parts on that they put on my vehicle. They were actually connecting hoses , long story short, they live for a living and it is a terrible company that everyone there is trained to lie directly to your face. I suggest if you take your vehicle there don’t just take their word for it do some research because they will rob you with an a blink of an eye, if they can , the sad thing is they feel like they’re actually helping you they believe in lies and what they are doing just awful"
"After 3 visits and $1,200 and waiting between 2-4 hours each time for something they said would take 20 minutes, I am still having issues with my brakes. What was particularly alarming was that when I came back for the 4th time to ask for my money back, the manager told me he knew exactly who I was - and he mistook me for another customer with a different car who must have had the same issues! I am still working my way through the process of getting the work evaluated by 2nd and 3rd opinions to see what is really going on. I don't like their work ethic or the quality of their work or their inflated pricing. Steer clear..."
"The manager Kyle was nothing short of amazing. You would think that he is the owner of the entire company as his dedication to customer satisfaction, is unsurpassed. He took the time to contact my extended warranty company - and was insanely knowledgeable and completed the job 2 hours earlier and made me feel like the most important friend. He should be the one training all store managers - nationwide and watch your customer approval ratings soar! There was an issue that the phone went down and no one could call and that might have cost me almost $1000 dollars - and he took the time on his personal phone to help me get the approval from my Zurich insurance. Him and his mechanic were rockstars and they helped me get home to my family as I was only passing through town. He also set me up with my local store in Georgia as well as made sure that my receipt was received the next day. Kudos to him!"
"A few years ago I brought my car here to get an oil change and tire rotation. I discovered they didn’t rotate the tires, although they said they did, so I stopped going there. Out of convenience I recently went back for the same service. I made a note of the tire placement prior to the service. Well don’t you know, they did it again, they claimed they rotated the tires, only to see that they had not done so. In reading some other reviews I see I’m not the only one with this experience."
"We went for tire prices and asked if they would check the brakes and rotors. They convinced my husband to apply for their credit card while we waited for the information. He was approved for a card but wasn't told how much he was approved for. They kept upselling him with additional items that they recommended that would be needed in the near future and even told him that everything could go on the new card. When it came time to pick up my car, the total was $3,059.85 - however, interestingly enough, when we told them to put it all on the card, they had to call the credit department because it didn't go through (surprise, surprise - since it was over $3k). That's when we were told he was only approved for $1,300. They didn't do ANYTHING price-wise or discounted on anything they sold him on (that could have waited a while), and the credit department should have increased the credit limit due to their mistake!! Long story short, it took every bit of money we had on our cards, in our banks, and in our wallets... $1,760 is A LOT OF additional money that we REALLY DIDN'T / DON'T HAVE (I am currently out of work due to back surgery a couple of months ago, and my hubby took off too, so he could take care of me -- so money is EXTREMELY TIGHT right now). On the bright side, my car is running and driving so great now that it's like new. We were charged for an oil change, but the windshield washer fluid was empty, and the sticker was missing (is usually placed on the windshield to tell you when your next oil change is due). The other issue that I have is a small cut in my window tint on my windshield from whoever took down the last sticker that was up there. I REALLY BELIEVE that Tires Plus needs to make this right!!! They should increase the card limit and put the additional $1,759.80 onto his card (we don't want anything free or waived... we know it's now owed, but this isn't our fault) and they should return all the money we would have never agreed to pay / we would have waited to have that work done when we HAD the money --- we need to eat, see the doctor (and pay copay), refill our monthly medications, feed our pets, and fill up our gas tanks. I would also like to KNOW 100% that the oil change was completed on my car."
