Reviews
"Personalize service, very professional, and they know what they are doing. 20+ years using Vigo and Vigo. Having a good accountant and a good lawyer helps in this country."
"Been using them for all my accounting needs for over 10 years. Great company and staff!"
"I rarely recommend businesses to my clients. However, Vigo and Vigo is an exception. They are my "go-to" accountants when one of my clients needs one. Luis Vigo in particular is always helpful and he is very knowledgeable on tax matters."
"I gave it a 1 star because 0 stars is not an option to write a review. Where do I start? My personal experience with the owner Jorge Vigo, through the years was not the best experience for myself or my wife. I find it extremely disrespectful and unprofessional for someone that you pay to provide you with a service to disrespect you as a client, but worse of all disrespect your wife and expect you to seat back and let it happen. I have no respect or tolerance for people like that. People paying for a service should be able to ask questions and feel comfortable with the person providing that service especially when money is concern. In business the customer service you provide is essential to your business, once you lack in that department is all down hill from there. In my personal experience with Jorge Vigo, I have NEVER MET an accountant so disorganized and disrespectful. We have experienced bumps on his prices but the worse part about it is if you ask him question he responds to you in a very nasty way by writing things like, "You don't have anything better to do with your time than to be asking me ridiculous questions", OR "Stop making a big deal on such petty things", quote on quote. To get him to answer a direct question on an email is a nightmare just as much as trying to get him on the phone. At the end of the day, my opinion is to make him work for the money he charges because no matter how organize you are, and no matter how much information you provide to him, he is still going to charge you whatever he wants not taking anything else into consideration. My wife and I just didn't feel comfortable working with him and giving him a $1 more of our money. He made us feel irrelevant as clients and that we "bothered" him. Unfortunately, he is a HUGE representation for Vigo & Vigo CPA and maybe he should think about setting a better example for all. Learning how to treat your clients with respect is a vital thing in any business because if not it would not be a business after all. We are glad that we kept all your emails through the years that show that what has been written is accurate. People are allowed to state their opinions and experiences with other individuals, its called the FIRST AMENDMENT. THE TRUTH HURTS, whether you agree with it or not."
"I gave it a 1 star because 0 stars will not allow you to write a review. Where do I start? In my opinion and experience, the owner, Jorge Vigo has the worse customer service in Miami. Unfortunately, my husband and I put up with a lot of nonsense because it wasn't to our convenience to get rid of him at the moment, but we reached our boiling point with him and my husband finally fired him at the end. There are so many great accountants in Miami that no one should have to deal with disrespectful comments from their accountant which is supposed to be a professional figure. Jorge Vigo is part of a firm that his family started but just because you continue a business someone else began does not mean you have experience on how to run it or give you the write as an owner to say or write anything you want to your clients. In my personal experience with Jorge Vigo, I believe he is very disorganized and disrespectful. Customer service is number one to have your business succeed and if you treat all your clients the way you have treated my husband and myself, by the ending of next year you could end up with no clients if your attitude does not change. We have experience bumps on his prices but the worse part about it is that if you question him on it you get disrespectful emails from him telling you the following, "You don't have anything better to do with your time than to be asking me ridiculous questions", "Stop making a big deal on such petty things", quote on quote. In the time that I worked with him, original documents I would give him would not be returned to me and when I would ask him about it his answer would be, "I gave you everything back", same thing on emails that I would have to resend to him more than twice because he either would not see them or he would always claim he never got or he would lose all together. To get Mr. Vigo to answer a direct question on an email is like pulling teeth, to get him on the phone is a nightmare and when he finally answers, Mr. Vigo has the tendency of never answering what you have asked which can be extremely frustrating for any client. My opinion, make him work for the money he charges because no matter how organize you are, and no matter how much information you provide to him, he is still going to charge you whatever he wants not taking anything else into consideration. At the end, my husband and I just didn't feel comfortable working with him anymore and giving him $1 more of our money. He personally made me feel irrelevant as a client and that my concerns didn't matter to him. You have to feel comfortable with the people you work with, whether is an accountant, an attorney, a teacher, etc. Unfortunately, he is a huge representation for the company and should set a better example for all. Jorge, you should learn how to treat your clients with more respect and show that they matter whether you like their questions or not. Customer service is vital to a company and it should not matter if the size of the client. A business does not exist without clients. Maybe after this, you can kiss up real hard to the remaining clients you have. I am so glad I have all the emails we have exchange through the years with you. People have the right to express themselves and voice their opinion about experiences good or bad that they have had with individuals they have personally dealt with, its called the First Amendment. Learning how to express yourself better in business comes with the territory of being a business owner and sometimes THE TRUTH HURTS."
