"Worst professional experience I have ever had. They are thieves and scammers. Do not engage in any kind of contracts with this company. They charged me $7500 four years ago and did not accomplish any services and did not fulfil their promises. They don't answer my calls and emails."

"If I could give this fraudulent company 5 negative stars...I would do it in a heartbeat!! My husband hired Palmer Tax Group over 3 and a half years ago and they have done absolutely nothing to help us. They are horrible people who lie to their clients and claim that the IRS and the State have lost the correct paperwork!! We have paid them thousands of dollars and they have caused us to have more problems with the IRS and the State of Illinois then we did in the first place (before we made the mistake of hiring Palmer Tax group.) They did not send the correct paperwork to the state of Illinois or to the IRS. We were by Palmer Tax group not to call the IRS or the state of Illinois because they didn't want us to find out that they neglected to send in any W-2 forms with our joint tax returns. Now the State of Illinois has put a levy on our bank account!! We have spoken to so many different people at Palmer Tax group that actually lied to us about what happened with our joint tax returns. They are constantly losing the paperwork and then they will ask you to send it in again. These are very important papers that have our personal information and signatures on them!! I have already spoken with the Florida Attorney General's office about Palmer Tax group and I wasn't surprised to hear that they have similar complaints about this fraudulent company. There's a woman named Deanna who actually had the nerve to start yelling at my husband on the phone because he wanted to know what was going on with our joint tax returns from 2014-2021!! She was beyond very unprofessional. Then the next time that she called... she actually had the nerve to ask my husband to give her a good review? She actually started blaming the other employees for not doing their jobs. It's always someone else's fault. This company is nothing but a bunch of fraudulent people, including the lawyer, Steven Palmer, who runs this negligent, so called tax consultants company! We will be contacting The Florida Attorney General's office, The Florida Bar association, The FTC, the Illinois Attorney General's office, The Palm Beach County Consumer Affairs, The Consumer Mediation/Department of Agricultural Consumer Affairs, The IRS, The Better Business Burea, and The Illinois Department of Revenue to report Palmer Tax group ASAP!! We're not playing around anymore!! We want all of our refunded!!! Palmer Tax group has been taking $200 a month for their fees since January of 2020 to January of 2023!! They have done absolutely nothing to help us!! The only thing that they have done is cause us more problems with the IRS and the state of Illinois! I have already spoken with the IRS and they told us to report Palmer Tax group for Fraudulent practices!! Because of Palmer Tax group..we have had to pay the IRS every month out of our checking account!! This should have never happened!! We had thousands of dollars that we were supposed to get back, but we have not seen a dime and as long as Palmer Tax group has our pages of years of tax returns, we will never get any of that money back! The IRS just sent us a certified letter that they are not going to accept the tax returns!! We are beyond fed-up with this sham of a company!! They have neglected to tell us the truth whenever my husband has tried to contact them. They will tell you not to contact the IRS or your State because they don't want you to find out that they have not filed the paperwork!! Lookout Palmer Tax group...you're not going to get away with this!! DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF TRUSTING PALMER TAX GROUP IN BOCA RATON, FLORIDA!! We will be contacting another lawyer to take care of the mess that Palmer Tax group has created for us on Monday, August 21, 2023!! This company should be shut down!! Before you even think about hiring this fraudulent company.....READ ALL OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS FROM OTHER PEOPLE AND YOU WILL SEE JUST HOW BAD THAT PALMER TAX GROUP IN BOCA RATON IS!!"

"Palmer Tax Group ignored me for months after they had me pay through Equity Finance telling me that I didn't pay. They finally admitted they had an employee quit and that my payment was never noted. I asked for a refund which they ignored. I had to hire another company (which got results in weeks) while they were ignoring me and I am still stuck paying Equity Finance. I highly suggest you check elsewhere. This has been a horrible experience and will gladly show all the proof of what I am saying here with anyone who wants it. BTW I had to give one star to post. Only reason they got that star."

"This was the worst experience I've ever had. They put me in a contract for over $6,000 to pay them to correct my taxes, file some and get refunds. Ask me what did they do? NOTHING! they kept saying documents have not been received, after several confirmations they were sent. Then the loan group they had me do the contract with told me they are not going to work with me any longer and that they will let the tax firm know. Essentially they dropped for payment yet they added this to my credit report. Just a bad company. I say fraudulent if they string you along for months without doing what they said they were going to do. One of the tax forms was completed INCORRECTLY. I ended up doing my own taxes! Yet still have issues with IRS."
