"Dear Tire Kingdom Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent service I received at your Longwood location on 1/11/2024. I called in to inquire about a quote for 4 new tires, an oil change, and an alignment, and the initial gentleman I spoke with provided a quote for these services, referencing my truck's make, model, and year from previous visits. However, upon dropping off my truck, I received a call stating that the initial quote did not include 7 quarts of oil, only five. Additionally, I was informed about purported issues with my front brakes, with an added cost of $600, and an extra $100 for the oil change due to the additional 2 quarts. I reiterated that I had a recorded phone conversation with the original quote and expected it to be honored. The response I received was dismissive and unprofessional, with the suggestion to proceed with only 5 quarts, accompanied by a questionable remark about not making it out of the parking lot. Later that evening, upon picking up my truck, I encountered an uncomfortable situation with the manager, who displayed a self-assertive and somewhat arrogant demeanor. Behind the manager was another employee who was pacing around with a baseball bat. Although he did not directly threaten me, his presence created an unsettling environment for me and my 10-year-old son, who became visibly nervous. Requesting a printout of the alignment report, a standard practice at other Tire Kingdom locations, was met with the explanation that the mechanic forgot to print it, leading them to request a photo for email. This, combined with the lack of uniformity among employees and an overall tense atmosphere, raises concerns about the management of this particular store. I have been a loyal Tire Kingdom customer across different locations, but this experience at the Longwood branch has left a lasting negative impression. It is evident that proper management is lacking, and the employees seem to mirror the unsatisfactory attitude displayed by the manager. I hope you take this feedback seriously as constructive criticism, and I trust that improvements will be made for the benefit of future customers."
"If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I own a performance shop and use shops like these to do tires, alignments, and basic things that I do no have the equipment to do myself. I brought them my personal vehicle for a basic 4 wheel alignment. I picked up the car and was told “The car is aligned but it wonders when you drive it. The mechanic diagnoses this as needing a new steering rack”. Knowing the vehicle inside and out because we built the car from the ground up in house, I knew there was some misunderstanding because the rack in the car is only 6 Months old and showed no signs of damage or malfunction. Got the car back to my shop to inspect and it was clear that the car had not actually been aligned. There was front toe adjustment made only. Nothing else was touched. So I brought it back and they said they would try again and I offered some technical assistance to the manager and she accepted my offer to help the technician align the car. The technician pulled the car onto the rack and when I approached her she said to me “if you know how to do alignments why don’t you just do it yourself”. She then told me they don’t do camber adjustments here they are just a toe and go shop. She told me I should just take my car to an alignment shop if I want it right. So I kindly asked the woman to park my car outside and not to touch anything. I got a refund for the alignment. For anyone still reading this, this is not a safe place to bring your car to. The woman doing the alignment told me she was the only mechanic on staff and everyone else are just tire changers. If this woman cannot even perform a simple 4 wheel alignment then she has no business doing alignments or perforating any service which requires a car to be aligned. This is basic automotive skills we’re talking about. I learned how to perform 4 wheel alignments when I was in highschool. Anyone can do it. I even offers to show this young woman how to do it. She had no interest in learning. Just replied “we don’t do camber here”. What a joke."
"Took my Toyota Avalon to Tire Kingdom on 11/16/23 because tire pressure light was on. They replaced all sensors, but light would not go off. Still charged me over $539. Told me to drive it for the weekend and bring it back if the light didn't go off. Took it back on 11/20/23 because light was still on. They could not fix it and told me to go to my Toyota Dealership, which I did. Seminole Toyota replaced the sensors and the tire pressure light was fixed. Paid $539 to NOT have my problem corrected. Have emailed customer service twice with no response."
"DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! If I could give negative stars, I would!!!! We called on 09/16/23 and received a quote of about $770 for 4 Michelin Defender 2 tires. We made an appointment and paid a deposit of $25. We show up for our appointment on 09/17/23. When we arrive, we were told by Natasha-who was slurring her words and could barely keep her eyes open, that the cost was $928 and it would be an additional $7 per tire for the tire stems. Now we get into the issue of the price discrepancy. While going back and forth with Natasha, my husband is on the phone with a different location and they say it's ridiculous they won't honor the quote. This location was the only location with those specific tires in stock at the time until Monday but the issue was they were needing to be replaced for a road trip occurring on Monday. As my husband is outside on the phone with the other location, Natasha tells me that she sees the problem, we weren't quoted for the tire disposal fee (of $150??). At this point we don't feel comfortable and decide to leave. We asked for a refund and are told the only person that can process the refund is the manager, Jenna that is off that day and she will be in contact on Monday 09/18/23. We end up calling the store back on 09/22/23 and speak to a male employee about the refund. He collects the card information and tells us ok, he'll get it processed shortly. We asked if he didn't input the information right then, what was done with it? He told us he WROTE IT DOWN ON A PIECE OF PAPER!!!! We asked what was going to be done with that information. He says it'll be blacked out with a sharpie and discarded once the refund is put in. As of today, 09/29/23 we still have not received the refund so we call again and this time get the manager, Jenna, on the phone. Jenna also sounds as if she's slurring her words. She told us that she has no idea about this problem and asks for the card information again which we refused to give since it was already given. She said she has no idea where that paper is with our card information on it!!!! We have called customer solutions and have requested for the area manager or regional manager to contact us about this and are prepared to press charges if our information is used. We were going to go with Tire Kingdom because we felt they were a trusted well known company, however I would recommend everyone stay far away from this specific location and take your business elsewhere!"
