"I’m telling you now this org is not worth working for I applied for a contract role and got a job after 3 interviews over 60 mins each time. I requested my supplier for an additional week to serve my notice period and was flat out rejected because the contractor company Magnit doesn’t and won’t allow it. So I quit my job and bad terms because I did want this job which is local to me after working for less than 5 days I came to know that my skills and what they want were completely off I am a Java developer and made it clear to hear that we need a Java developer only to find out they prefer someone with .net and I need to get training why would I go from Java to .net and train in something that I don’t have couldn't they clarify after 3 interviews? I blamed my recruiter initially and thought he faked up my resume once he forwarded the resume sent and all the details I realized they gave Raymond James the same resume I gave. So not only did I leave a good company to join this org I asked them to see if they had any Java roles might be recommended for and after my manager confirmed he would def try in other teams I felt ease only to see my recruiterxx forward me an email from Magnit immediately firing me on the pretense I misrepresented my skills. I have no clue why and what Magnit is but I know this company says something else and hiring managers say something else please do not waste your time directly apply but don’t quit your job for this company or you will be jobless in my opinion"
"in my opinion company has to be the most disorganized company with indecisive leadership in finance. Got an interview from a 3rd party which overall turned out to be the only part that was highly satisfying once I was submitted the middle firm pro set up an interview which felt like it was a big favor after the first round I received feedback the manager was extremely satisfied and wanted to move forward I kno this for a fact because my supplier reviewed the written feedback in front of me after a week of nothing I followed up but nothing waited a second week to hear a very nasty email was sent by pro that I was being impatient and in short there’s better out there but still I decided wait it out after 3 weeks they hired someone else still set a call up with my supplier to get feedback on how I can improve so to do better in interviews for other jobs. That’s when my supplier clarified that this is how Raymond James and pro operate and I was just of many cases where the team you interview with want you but they might be pushed into hiring people pro unlimited likes. Totally waste of time and compeltely dirty o politics"
"I worked here and have first hand experience with this "corporation". I second the review about supervisors and how employees are treated poorly. They make a lot of promises and don't follow through. Wasteful and frivolous. I wouldn't recommend. Use a small grassroots business."
"I interviewed Raymond James twice in the last couple of months (2 rounds for one role and one round for a different role). I just wanted to educate everyone about my experience hoping no one else experiences the same, mainly because their interviewing process was very misleading and uncomfortable in both instances for me. I understand there is a certain criterion for their employment standards and I completely understand if I'm not the fit they are looking for. However, the experience I had through both of their interview sessions made me feel uncomfortable and misled like never before. - The first interview Round 1: I was not asked any technical questions- more of my skill and what they were looking for (introduction and knowing my abilities, etc.) which they found impressive and moved forward to a second interview (in which I was told they will ask tech-related questions) and DID NOT ASK A SINGLE ONE but more of personal hobbies for 30 minutes. I was even receiving a positive response which had me confident that I would get the opportunity. I got an update from the hiring team (after approaching them myself about an update) saying I was not considered due to not being technically fit for the role. Which was very odd. I received a second invitation to be interviewed for another role as the team saw my resume and was impressed. I agreed to proceed and this time I was asked tons of technical questions by one interviewer(which I am sure I answered the best way I could)- who actually left the meeting abruptly saying thanks bye, and the second interviewer asked nothing technical or skill related, I received the same exact email response (verbatim- exactly the same where I asked them for an update myself and not from them) saying I was not a good fit. Again, I understand there might be a certain criterion they are looking for, and I totally understand if they do not consider me for valid reasons. However, of all the interviews I have had in my career these two were by far the most misleading and uncomfortable interviews I have had. Raymond James might be a great company to work for, but its interviewing processes along with the people they place as interviewers, and the hiring team need to be better."
"As a company RJ has always served me well, but after my experience with Zaya or Zai (I apologize for misspelling) was most unsatisfying. This individual was not only condescending but also very entitled for someone who is to be a “specialist for many years” in assisting others financially you need to be humble and courteous. I don’t expect a reply but it needed to be said I am not sure if it was a bad day but that lady needs some in depth training."
