"This business is a scam. She exercises false advertising techniques. She will not talk to you unless you have a minimum of $250,000 available to open an account. This is called wealth management. Hence, you are already wealthy and seek help managing said wealth. The advertising on Google, the website and YouTube describes the business as offering financial planning services. People certified as financial planners that you can hire to assess your personal situation and advise a strategy to accomplish your goals. 99% of the population is just seeking help choosing an IRA or 401k to develop a retirement portfolio over time. Very few people have $250,000 to invest to open a portfolio. If that is your target customer and that is the only type of customer you will take, then admit that! Don’t draw customers in under false pretenses in an attempt to snag some business. Unprofessional and outright disgraceful. Charisse, you are a liar. If you have to lie to get business, perhaps you should rethink your entire business plan."
"Contacted Charisse at Zinnia Wealth a few years before my pending retirement. She helped us with what we were doing correctly and ways to improve our investment options prior to retirement. She and her staff were patient for years, “you’re good to go for now, lets talk when you pull the trigger and we’ll get something really good going for you and Bonnie”. Early in retirement 3 years ago she set up a comprehensive income plan that is and continues to work out well. Two very critical points, she assisted us in identifying some stocks (buy and hold portion of our portfolio) and recommended a high rate annuity at a very volatile period in the bottom of Covid 19. Of course, no guarantees, but the B&H stocks are now up 18%, and her staff contacted us proactively when the annuity S&P index lock in was 33.5% higher than when purchased. Hmmmm, a wealth manager that proactively contacted me when an opportunity was identified and arrived? Talked to her again today to adjust short term strategy for my wife’s (62) pending retirement. In years past I’ve had other investment / money management firms, no comparison to ZWM. Highly recommended"
"I am very impressed with Charisse and Zinnia Wealth Management. She is down to earth and competent. Our portfolio has done well since we have been with Zinnia. We have been with them for three years."
"I just complete my one-year review with Charisse and Zinnia Wealth Management, and I must say I am very impressed. During our initial consultation and decision-making meetings a year ago, Charisse went into our options in great detail. Over the past year our chosen mix of annuities and stocks have performed exactly as expected. Moreso, our recent review was an opportunity to revisit last year’s decisions and make a few changes. With higher inflation, rising interest rates and upcoming market volatility on the horizon, we tweaked our investment plan to hopefully ride out the coming year or two with minimal impact, something I never could have done on my own. I’ve read through the other reviews and feel a need to comment on the negative ones. First, Charisse IS a Fiduciary. No idea where that comment came from. Next, if you are complaining about reschedules or waiting in the lobby you may want to manage your expectations and examine your motives for the visit. The fact that my financial advisor is busy bodes well. If she has so few clients I can effectively walk in for a consult, well I’m not walking in. Finally, it is your advisor’s responsibility to explain the potential ramifications of your investments. But it is your responsibility as a client to understand them. If you try to cash out an annuity early there will be penalties and losses. Be aware of this before you sign. I interviewed three separate firms before choosing Zinnia. It was not a toss-up decision. Their philosophy best matched my needs. I highly recommend them."
"My wife contacted Zinnia to set an appointment with Charisse and was told she could not meet for 17 days. When we arrived we were told Charisse could not meet but an assistant would meet with us. Charisse didn’t have the professional courtesy to contact us to reschedule our appointment. Charisse had sold my wife an annuity with Security Benefit and had recommended the money be split between two funds, neither of which allowed any changes in the first five years. One of the funds Charisse selected was a 5 yr Annuity Linked TVI FUND . This fund is based on future contracts bought and sold on a list of 20 commodities. After five years this fund has generated $ 0.00 earnings whereas the Dow has increased over 60%. Charisse is not a fiduciary and investments in funds dedicated to future contracts, the riskiest form of investment options, should never be recommended for retirement income. If we cash out this annuity now, after five years, we suffer considerable losses. The decision to trust Charisse and her annuity recommendations represent the worst financial decision my wife and I have ever made. Both she and I are in poor health and have both had open heart surgery. We need this money now but can’t access without additional financial losses. Make sure your financial advisor is a fiduciary."
