Jackie went above and beyond my expectations and found us a great rate on a policy with the same coverages. I could not ask for better customer service!!! She obviously cares about her customers! "I never write reviews, but this time I am compelled to do so. Without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They don't return calls and when they finally do, their follow up and follow through is as close to non existent as possible. When I was notified about a substantial rate increase on my policy, I asked them to investigate other options. I also told them that I was leaving the country and would be out when the policy came due. I stressed that I wanted this taken care of prior to my departure. Since I wasn't hearing back, I called every 3-5 days to try to get this done. They finally got back to me with some information late in the afternoon, the day before my departure. Do yourself a favor, find a company that have agents that want to work and deliver customer service. You will have much less stress and aggravation."

"The vast majority of my reviews are positive as I try to highlight when people and companies do a great job. Unfortunately, I cannot say that about David Dunham Insurance. Rather than list all the problems I’ve had with this agency, I’ll sum up by saying almost every interaction with them was difficult – including when I sold my house and promptly notified them to cancel the insurance. I provided the closing documents and gave them the address of the house. A week later, they sent me a past due insurance bill for the property, which I had to spend time correcting. Then a week after that, I received numerous emails with utter confusion regarding the status of property – asking for a declaration page, that they can’t find it in their system, etc. I repeatedly advised them I sold the property, notified them of the sale, that they canceled the insurance and even forwarded their own emails to them to try to assist. They wouldn’t stop emailing me asking about a property I no longer own. I finally had to advise them I wouldn’t be responding to any further emails since I sent all their own emails to them and cannot assist to answer their internal questions regarding insurance about a house I don’t own anymore. Then to top it off, they finally figured out their mess and told me they accidentally sent a cancellation for a second property I still own! Thankfully, they advised the policy on the property I still own was not cancelled (but just to be certain I contacted the insurance provider directly and told them David Durham Insurance is inept and to not cancel the policy.) I immediately moved my second property I had with them to another agency to avoid future problems. Again, this was a basic policy cancellation. I can’t imagine what a nightmare it would be if an actual claim was filed. Do yourself a favor – avoid this insurance agency and save yourself a lot of work and grief."

Some other insurance companies didn't even give the courtesy of calling me back, so this experience was very refreshing.
