"Arthur helped resolve a disagreement over wages with my former employer. He asked questions, listened, read, gave advice on what he learned, then went to work. The final outcome was exactly what I had anticipated being a fair resolution. Highly recommended."

"Absolutely terrible. We were referred to this attorney by a family friend. Renae, whatever her title is, was talking to us like we are children and turned down our case initially without even trying to gather more information. I had to call her to give her more information. We were notifying her of how my husband was facing discrimination due to being terminated 1 week after giving his paternity leave notice, and telling her the ways he would be covered under FMLA. Then while talking FMLA, she states that his employer would need at least 15 employees to qualify. That is ADA. Not FMLA. She told him his company wouldn’t have enough employees to qualify, yet he works for a corporation all over the US that could be considered in many ways a joint or integrated employer. It is up to the ATTORNEY to help us determine that. If this was not a factor, and just the franchisee would be considered the employer, we notified her that the franchisee owns locations all over Florida. So it is very possible that the franchisee employs 50 or more employees within a 75 mile radius. Who could help us figure that out? An EMPLOYMENT lawyer that she wouldn’t even let us get to. So possibly big case, discrimination under FMLA due to termination for requesting paternity leave, and firing due to retaliation due to lack of engagement (and the examples of retaliation we have is his employer asking him to come in for meetings for no compensation on days off (husband asked if he would receive compensation, employer told him no, we have proof of employer telling him no, he is an hourly worker) and stating that his lack of attending those was a reason for his termination)). Then Renae asked me how that was an example of discrimination. What?? It was like she wasn’t listening since I told her I was talking about retaliation. Also she then mentioned maternity leave when we were talking about paternity leave! That lady doesn’t listen and just made an 8 month pregnant woman very upset. Lost out on a good case and only called this place due to the recommendation"
