"I looked for a good attorney not once but twice for this reason and both times, I came to this firm. Was very hopeful. I was extremely hesitant to hire legal help because I know how expensive it can be. I paid over several paychecks to retain them, once that was paid, I was told I would have to file back taxes, well, to file back taxes, I needed a CPA which was money. Then, I’m told by CPA that mailing and e filing take about the same time so now we’re pushing this all from November to February. I believe the last communication I had with anyone from this firm was first week of January. Exactly the reason I was hesitant is exactly what my experience has been. Paid thousands of dollars I DID NOT have and for nothing at all. They didn’t even have to contact the courts on my behalf because I never filed bankruptcy papers. The only positive that I came away with was to re affirm to listen to my gut. Maybe this is attorney’s, collectively, but this is the only attorney experience I have had. Edited to add, I read another review where the owner responded about not finding any client by that name, Dana N KELLAM. Jot that down. Thanks"

"First of all, read the yelp reviews. Robert Geller is very sympathetic and quite inviting during your initial consultation. He promises to get you out from under your debts. What a relief! During the consultation, he explains that you have to pay X amount of dollars before your case is filed, and after that, you have the “option” of hiring him to represent you in court, which is a separate charge after the fact. After paying my filing fee, I did not feel that my situation required Attorney representation. Upon telling my paralegal this, he explained that it was too late in the process for me to represent myself. So I would have to sign up to pay an extra $1800 after my bankruptcy was finished. At the “court date“ all my paralegal said was “here.” All that was spoken during the entire process was between myself and the judge. The paralegal did absolutely nothing! And for that I’m making payments on $1800. So, way to go, Robert Geller! You’re putting your clients right back into debt straight out of the gate! And as if things weren’t bad enough, I received a follow up call from Robert Geller in regards to student loans. It was during this phone call that he assessed my financial situation and told me “Wow you don’t make very much.” Yeah, I’m sorry, Mr. Geller, I don’t make very much because I haven’t figured out a way to scam people out of their money. Avoid this guy at all costs. His smug attitude isn’t worth two nickels."

"I am so pleased with this firm. Mr. Frank Papa was able to get me 100% refund of the settlement fees of a debt settlement company I paid that overcharged me under Florida Law.
