Reviews
"Greatness is what I would say . Man of his word ."
"Extremely disappointed doesn't say enough. I found Nickolas to be: highly lacking in proficiency regarding probate as well as the necessary mediation skills for such a case. Easily misled by others & he even verbally berated & attacked me repeatedly over the phone (his own client) based on lies, even attempting to pit my words against my own mother in a "he said she said" & I had asked not to involve my mother. Thousands of dollars in jewelry were entrusted to him to store in his safe, but the items floated around his office for weeks in an envelope, misplaced. He even looked at me & said he had given the jewelry back to me already (Awkward). He met me at the bank for me to hand over $20k+ in cash to be placed in an estate bank account but he left the bank with the cash in hand, unable to do the basic task of opening an account. (And I could go on & on more.) His lack of skill across the board & subsequent broken promises & "tail chasing" resulted in him billing excessively beyond his quote and industry standards. After I fired him, informed him his bill was in dispute & instructed him "in writing" not to withdraw money for himself from my father's estate, he later took money from my father's estate's funds twice amounting to around $9K. (Bully-like arrogance?) I am now in the process of getting the Florida Bar involved. This is absolutely not what someone should have to endure after losing their father. He has caused a tremendous amount of grief for myself, my wife and my other family members, severely scarred & deepened a rift within our family unnecessarily as well as direct & indirect financial damages to my father's estate. Nickolas was given as a referral and it is clear to me he was a "very bad referral". I feel he owes my entire family the truth & an apology & even some money back he did not rightfully earn. Update: See FL Bar grievance file "Lawry v. Alexander, TFB File No. 2023-00,423(4A)" You can see black and white documentation on what it was like for me to be a client of J. Nickolas Alexander Jr. and even worse in my opinion... how Mr Alexander himself responded."
"Friendly stsff"
"Completely disappointed. Knows very little about guardianship, but still took the case . Very unprofessional. Had to find a new attorney to take over the case ."
