"Anne did our estate planning in 2022 completing the effort in December. That is, in spite of Hurricane IAN causing major damage to her office and, of course, to all of us who were impacted by this major storm. Our Trust was a redo of the original which was completed in California over 20 years ago. Not surprisingly, the laws had changed, states were different, and our employment status had changed. Anne and her staff were able to update everything to best protect our assets. It really entailed a completely new Trust. What I found most helpful were the letters she drafted to be sent to my heirs when I felt it best to inform them of the Trust, and some of the duties that would be required of them in the future. She also provided a checklist for steps we needed to take to protect assets that were new or currently unprotected. I highly recommend Anne and her Office, if you are planning on updating a will, trust, or just exploring future planning. Of course, that also includes taking your first steps in getting your financial house in order.
