"Do your homework. I should have. Initially, I spoke with the secretary on the phone. He encouraged me to make a phone appointment with Micheal for $25. Egging me on, the secretary led me to believe I had an easy case. I then spoke to Micheal, and within a minute, I was succinctly told it's not cost effective to hire an attorney for small claims court for such a small amount.
