"We had a terrible experience with this company. When our house was destroyed by Ian we came across this company that we regrettably suggested to our neighbor as well. They also had pretty similar bad experience. People are very unprofessional from agents to all the way to management. Our agent had barely any knowledge to what she is doing, resulted in us signing contract twice due to that, and Fema refused to talk to her because of the same mistake. Actually Fema's adjuster got us an advance and filed for a full claim. Our agent could barely talk, she mumbled and gone MIA all the time. Her replacement wasn't much more helpful. They all dissappeared for months without any updates or answers. Just left us hanging. They still represented our wind claim but they lost flood due to that unprofessional approach. Over a year later we finally received a check from People's Trust dated 4 months prior. When we were told back 4 months prior that it should come "any day now". I guess 160-ish days still falls into that promise. It arrived to an old address, additional delay (they were aware of the new one) with the note and return envelope for their 10% commission. We settled for the amount only because we already sold our damaged house almost a year prior and we wanted Storms One being out of our lives with that stress. They actually didn't deserve that commission in my opinion as they are taking advantage of people loss instead of really advocating for them. Whatever "work" was done was only for the show since they know they will earn the commission regardless."
