"I’d like to make this as short & to the point as possible. We were living in a home that belonged to my in laws. It was also our “home” since 2008. My mother in law secured a reverse mortgage on the property before she passed (she had stage 4 cancer) so that her husband would be able to live in that home for the rest of his life and not worry about making mortgage payments. Unfortunately my father in law passed away at age 77 in 2019, leaving the house to the bank and is having to look for another place to live. We knew that it would go into foreclosure and we’d have until it sold to move. Fortunately we were granted more time in our home due to Covid-19, but still we knew the time would come eventually. He arranged more time in our home with the new owners, arranged payment of existing utility bills and granted us an advancement of payment so that we were able to move out and have the funds needed to do so smoothly! We got our final payment because we chose to settle early because we weren’t in a position to wait, and it did reduce the final amount we would be getting in the long run, but that was our choice and we are absolutely happy with our decision. We considered this money a blessing and it came at a time that we absolutely needed it. These guys made that possible. If you only knew the amount of work they have to do to, to make all of this happen, you’d be so nice and respectful to them. They are getting you money and taking care of all the paperwork and dealing with the court system. To us, that’s priceless. Thanks Justin, Maya & the team.
