"I hired this firm to represent me in my Social Security disability claim. Big mistake! I've never felt so unrepresented while being represented by an attorney. I received no support, no guidance or direction from him as to what I needed to do to win my case on appeal, specifically, the amount medical documentation needed for the Judge to even consider ruling in my favor. Although I had diagnosed conditions and continued seeking care for those conditions, it wasn't enough. Surely the attorney should know this and advise their client of the same. I wasn't given this advice. Instead, I was left on my own to submit requested paperwork to SSA. The attorney didn't even review any of it prior to submitting to SSA eventhough I asked. Even worse, the attorney Mr. Furr, never even bothered to meet me in person or hear my story and we are both local. The support staff was helpful within their limitations. I received a 30 minute telephone conversation with him 2 weeks prior to my hearing and he attended my hearing by telephone. To be fair, all hearings are by telephone currently. He said very little to support my claim during the hearing and needless to say, I received an unfavorable decision. Almost 3 years from my original filing with 6 diagnosed qualifying conditions including physical and mental disabilities and all for nothing. Disappointed, disillusioned and disregarded."
"The first day Doug sat next to me on my couch and made me promise that if anything went wrong and I decided to use another attorney that we would sit down face to face and talk about it. He did not, he was so ready to get rid of me because of a text I sent him where I was talking about Chris Cumberland and he thought I was talking about him, without asking me. Doug I consider a wonderful human being that took me to Easter service and brunch with his family in 2019, Chris Cumberland not so much. Chris made an illegal back door move to help the company, who told me they had me insured, I filled out paperwork on it etc. Was told I had a job in Louisiana when we are done because they loved they way I worked and could be left alone. but they didn't have any insurance and When I got hurt they scrambled to get there equipment out of Panama City back to Louisiana. I found out that that promise alone should have got me Louisiana workers comp and I could a been fixed already. Chris got another lawyer involved to do this back door deal that didn't want to but did. After that Doug shutdown my big lawsuit telling me he had no time for my case anymore (after my text) Here I am finally getting my right shoulder done supposedly next week. Both shoulders have multiple tears, my biceps is out of it's track and both elbow extensor tendons are torn 80% thru. My left hand got in between the steel and my head and both knuckles were the size of golf balls. All anyone did was x-rays till 3 months ago I got mri's and showed all this damage I have included the meat in my hand cut from my knuckles to my wrist. I tried to call Doug the other day I wanted to ask if I can sue these hospitals and doctors that have been misdiagnosing me all these years with x-rays and calling me a substance abuser when I return complaining about the pain. Can I sue Chris Cumberland for his illegal move and taking a bribe from my employers. I been suffering 5 years come next month and someone should pay whether it be money or I visit them and turn them into me and see how they do the next 5 years. Doug never returned my call, his secretary wouldn't do it without an explanation of which there was nothing she could a did, this was for a boss to hear, not her. Now I'll get a lawyer from somewhere else and go after Chris Cumberland when I tried to do it in house first. How is someone gonna lookout for the people that hurt you and not their client? It doesn't make sense. The injury I sustained left me needing surgery on 2 discs in my neck, both shoulders, both elbows , both hands, my L4 is torn and my knees. They left me like this 5 years now and only because I cried to a Dr 4 months ago did they start doing mri's to see all the damage I have and that I'm not a substance abuser but someone legitimately in a lot of pain."
"Clayton Syfrett and Tisha were very thorough and helpful with my case. They were caring and supportive throughout the entire process and got me the full compensation on my case. The office staff was very nice and always helpful."
"My case was being handled by Dawn. She lost "misplaced" my documentation THREE times and all with PERSONAL INFORMATION on those documents. She NEVER emailed me on my case unless I emailed her FIRST. And after TWO YEARS of waiting for an answer to my claim, I was denied. I did 99% of the work myself and the only time I heard from the Partners of the firm is when I terminated my relationship with them. I would never recommend this firm to anyone."
"Before I even filed for disability, I hired S,D,&F. They handled EVERYTHING! They knew what the local judges were looking for and guided me through the whole process. Dawn Johnson was very patient with all my questions and I would highly recommend this firm. Thank you so much for everything!"
