"Although I found Investment Title of Florida to be somewhat unresponsive in answering questions leading up to the closing, my first impression was generally favorable. The agent, Sharee, seemed to be knowledgeable and efficient at the actual closing, and was quick to get the proceeds into my account. However, that favorable impression was erased. I did not receive my closing documents package two days after the closing as promised. I sent Sharee an email requesting the status of the documents. She did not respond. I sent Sharee a second email a few days later. She did not respond. A few days after that, I called Sharee and she said "I got your emails, I'm in a closing, I'll get back with you." In other words "I have been ignoring you." When she got back with me, it was to tell me that fed ex must have lost the documents, and she would send a new package. I said no, we need to track down the original package because it contained my personal information. I asked her to provide the fed ex tracking information. Then she told me a cockamamie story that her assistant had just miraculously found the package under the seat of her car. I can understand Sharee's failure to send the documents in the first place, but she destroyed her credibility by ignoring my emails and then by lying about it. I need to be able to trust a title company to be honest with me. This one was not."
