"The indoor options are great for this Florida heat but the prices could be a lot better! Especially for longer term storage options. Overall it's decent but the new customer deal is what drew me in. UPDATE: I've had a unit here now for over a year and the already outrageous price has went up twice for a total of a $43 increase and I have found equally if not better facilities that are literally ⅓ of the price so I will be closing out my unit without a doubt and I highly recommend to anyone needing a storage unit to shop around before deciding on any certain facility! UPDATE: I have now closed out my unit and during the week long process I tried getting ahold of the store manager but she never returned either of my 2 voice-mails but I used the app to choose my move-out date which was 7 days in advance and with the already outrageous price of the unit I expected some sort of prorated refund since I only used ⅓ of the month but nope! They care nothing at all about the consumer and just want their money so I called in to make a formal complaint and spoke to an escalations agent by the name of Alfred which literally was the most uncaring and unconcerned escalations agent I have ever spoken with and I am literally an escalations agent myself! He wouldn't last one week at my employer but that's besides the point! He pretty much just blamed me for not reading the contract and had a snarky response for everything I said even though I was being very respectful due to the fact that it's not like he made the policies! Even after looking online and reading that Public Storage is known for working with consumers at getting some of their money back for leaving early that is complete lies because there was no attempt to talk it over and the store manager still has yet to return my calls after leaving a 3rd message today! Public Storage is consumer driven yet care nothing about the consumer and only their money since it's completely clear that my unit will be rented asap and they will be making money off of it while my paid month is still in their pocket! I will never again consider using a Public Storage ever again in my life and will also make it aware to those that I suggested it to that they should get a new unit where the place actually cares about the consumer and has great customer service as well as much lower prices! I am completely disappointed and would recommend anyone thinking of using Public Storage to think otherwise!! This is how they treat a consumer that has paid every payment on time for almost 2 years!!! And all these reviews about the manager sound amazing but I have never met this guy in all the times I've been there and have only been provided with a women's number to call when asking for the manager's contact info so idk about that but he sounds great, just never seen him at all!"
