"Salesman need to be better trained. There is definitely a disconnect between the retail sales department and there outside installers which is disappointing. They tell you one thing and then they switch midstream. And one of the manager is was absolutely not accommodating when circumstances are explained to him and he becomes non-responsive possibly because he didn't know what he was doing or failed to ask the proper questions and provide the proper answers"
"I had a great experience (online and in-store install) in purchasing an Apple Car Play for my vehicle. There were no snafus or hiccups throughout the process. Amanda did the install for my van and was great. She made sure I understood the unit’s operation before I left. Friendly and competent. Great experience all around."
"I shop Best Buy online all the time and to be honest, it’s the only way I’ll purchase from them again. This particular location doesn’t seem to have enough customer service personnel on the floor. The ones that are working just stand around talking and joking with each other instead of actually helping customers. I stood around in the computer section, starring at CS reps for 15 minutes and not one asked if I needed help. I ended up leaving and buying the same computer from Amazon while sitting in their parking lot. I won’t be back."
"They have a good selection of items and good prices. Although there were a lot of staff on hand, they didn't have enough cashiers, and the line was long and slow. Also, staff needs to spend more time checking areas and cleaning up shelves. There was a spill on one and garbage on others. At this point, I kind of understand why people prefer to shop online."
"Extreme dissatisfaction with the manager on duty today from the St. Petersburg, Fl store. The cooktop was sold as in "excellent condition," an open box item. Upon arriving at the store to pick up the paid order. The staff was unable to locate the cooktop, resulting in a lengthy wait of over 40 minutes to find our paid order. They eventually found the cooktop in the warehouse, it was missing crucial components, no installation instructions, etc and not in a box. They found it sitting on the warehouse floor. The manager explained it was previously installed. What? Best Buy "excellent policy" -states all components included and previously not installed. Not only was his attitude condescending and rude, but he also displayed a complete lack of empathy and accountability. His response was dismissive, he stated-> "take it or leave it".. refusing to acknowledge their mistake or provide any viable solutions. He further stated, "I will just sell it to someone else." We drove over an hour and what we paid for was never at the store. Waste of time and a total managerial disappointment for customer service."
