"We were traveling north on the Florida Turnpike just south of the Stuart exit when our car started stumbling. The Onboard computer was reporting 100 miles left in the tank and the gas gauge was about 1/4. We limped to the Stuart exit and made it to the 7-11 where we filled up. The check engine light came on at the gas station. We noticed Total Tire in the building next door. I walked over and immediately realized this was an exceptional tire store. The lifts were full, people working, and full wait room of customers. Ian Laberge recognized we were a little distressed and went to work on our car. He hooked up the computer, pulled the codes (multiple misfires), cleared them and took it on a test drive up to highway speeds. He came back and assured us it was running fine and that we could take it on home. Sure enough it didn't hiccup the remaining 1.5 hour drive. I was even 10 minutes early for a an appointment. That same evening i had to go another 1-hour round trip. The car ran perfect. And today the car ran great again. We think the car was running out of gas and the computer/gas gauge was lying to us. Anyway, I can’t say enough good things about Ian and Total Tire in Stuart. I would definitely trust them with my car."
