"On my quest to procure a bottle of red wine, I found my way to ABC Fine Wine & Spirits. The moment I stepped into the store, I was greeted by an extensive array of wines, creating a momentary sense of bewilderment. Fortunately, Russell, a friendly and knowledgeable staff member, stepped in to assist me in navigating the vast selection. With a keen understanding of my preferences and requirements, Russell effortlessly guided me towards an exceptional choice. His expertise shone through as he recommended a red wine that perfectly complemented my taste preferences. I left ABC Fine Wine & Spirits not only with a bottle of wine for dinner but also with a newfound appreciation for the personalized and attentive service provided by their staff. "Compared to Total Wine & Spirits, a few miles away, their selection isn’t as good. Today they had over 20 people working there and all they seemed to care about was stocking and not helping me find what I needed. I had to ask 5 different associates, they first pointed me to the opposite side of the store for the specific item requested, then after asking for help several more times they went in the back and brought me an item which was not the correct one. When I finally went to the back where they got that wrong item, I was able to easily find the item I had been asking for with ease. When you have that much staff working, you could just follow through with helping the person instead of just saying “over there”. Also the checkout line is very confusing, and it’s a zig zag across several aisles instead of a straight line. I thought I was in the correct place to stand in line and was yelled at by a customer to go to the back of the line (I thought I was). Finally, for to go orders, you should have a way to just go and pick it up upon entry instead of the current setup. Take a page from Total Wine and Spirits, as I am able to go in there and pickup in and out and I’m done in just a few minutes. Anyway, sorry to the lady who thought I was cutting line (it’s just poorly setup and confusing)."
"I stopped by this liquor store to get some left-hand nitro beer which is hard to find. I went up and paid for it and as I was leaving, I looked at the receipt and remembered that it was $13 not $16 as the receipt said I went back in and talked to cashier who called the shift leader over And it began the refund. Her whole attitude. The whole time was very rude. I showed her a picture of the price tag and the receipt which is a difference of about four dollars. She did not apologize. She said OK we will give you a refund but I need to open an account for you. I need an ID your address and an email address to process the refund. I said I do not want to open an account or a savings card. I just want my money back because of your mistake. She began to get very short with me and very rude. I asked for a manager she said she was the manager. This was about 530 on a Thursday night. I Said I do not wanna open I want an account , I want the difference in the prices you overcharged me. She said she cannot refund me the difference because I need to open up an Account. Finally, I gave in and she refunded the three dollars she still did not apologize for their mistake!I will never shop here again. I will make the trip to Wesley Chapel and get it from to Total Wine! Do not shop at ABC!!"
"My wife and I (31) walked in to grab some items to bring to our friends Christmas event. We were in our matching ugly Christmas sweaters. When we walked up, the gentleman that was cashing us out looked at as us and said “I’m confused”. Not sure why he was confused seeing it is the 14th of December, it’s common for people to be in festive clothing. He then refused to sell us the alcohol, when my wife (33) had her ID. We have never had a good experience at this store and will not be returning"
