"The guy who was checking us out was completely rude and was not trying to serve us because my grandmother has a puerto rico id and he couldnt find her date of birth and when we entered the store he followed us and asked if we were over 21 and had ids when we asked him what it was about he says he does it to everyone but there were multiple ppl in store he did not do that too and then said we were making fun of him when we were pointing to where the date of birth was on the id. we walked out without buying anything cause the service was absolutely disgusting"

"What a joke of a store....this place used to be good back in the day, but when I went in recently, I noticed that dozens and dozens of different wines did not match the vintages of the bottles in the bins. For example, if a bin label read 2018 93 points (Wine Advocate), the bottles in the bin were actually from the 2020 vintage. I noticed this on countless vintage wines on many labels - touting the points from Spectator, Advocate, etc. and they didn't match the vintage of the bottles in the bin. This is so misleading and false advertisement, as many people make their selections based on wine ratings. But those ratings are only attributed to that specific vintage - so make sure to actually read the label on the bottle and make sure it matches the bin label - if you shop that way. The other problem I encountered is that I couldn't get my points for my purchase. I've had an ABC card for over 25 years!!! And the sales associate could not find it in their system. I had to create a new account, and the manager told me that this kind of thing has happened to a lot of customers who have been shopping there since the store opened back in the 1980s!!!. Sounds like ABC purged their system or had a corrupted database and just started over. The store has really gone down hill ever since Glenn retired several years ago - He was the man, and people came to shop there just because of him. A couple of people who replaced him have left or gone to other locations, and I spoke to one guy who used to work there, and he just rolled his eyes and said he was so glad to be away from the Dale Mabry store and all the problems there."

"ABC is where I go if I'm looking for a large selection of liquor and beer to choose from. They have never disappointed. There is a good selection of mixers as well as garnishments. They also have a walk in cigar humidor with a good selection of cigars. This store is always clean, well lit, and has helpful, knowledgeable employees. The prices are good and they have specials."

"Second time here and experience was also bad. First time, I asked about a product, but a male staff told me their company no longer carry the product, however, when I went to a different location I was able to find the product I needed and was also informed that they haven't heard anything about discontinuing the product. The second time, a young lady helped me checked out and she was so rude and judgmental. She's like "oh you look like you spend a lot of money here" and looked at me up and down. Like excuse me???? Don't be making assumptions about anyone. Anyways, won't be coming back to this location. Staffs need more training. The one in New Tampa is much better. Staffs were all friendly at the other location."

"I just wait in the truck but my wife takes quite a long time in here so I assume they have a great wine selection! Great parking lot to wait in for sure. Great lighting if you have a book. Pizza is in the same plaza as well. Pretty much a win-win!"
