"Not the best neighborhood but value is worth it. Cashiers are the slowest in God's creation!"
"I wish I could give zero stars. Very crowded with one register open and six employees on the floor laughing having a good time. And the cashier just throws all your things in one bag no matter what it is. This store has went through plenty of people but right now this is by far the worst family dollar ever"
"I go to this location on a semi-regular basis and it is a regular issue that prices on the shelves are lower than when the item is scanned at the register. in the past, this has been immediately solved and the amount changed. Today I wanted an axe body deodorant that was behind the registers, and below it the price was clearly marked 3.85 I mentioned this to the gentleman behind the register and also pointed out that the pop tarts, fruit snacks, margarine, and toilet paper were all ringing up wrong also. He was unable to help, which is fine He does not have that authorization. However with this location there is usually one person at one register. He did the right thing by paging a supervisor. We waited approximately five to ten minutes before one finally showed, after several pages. One customer left their items and decided not to purchase due to this horrendous customer service so there was another sale that this location lost. I have worked as a GM and guest service manager at companies, and I have also been the AGM at two locations of family dollars in the past, AT FD we ALWAYS honored the price that was on the shelf that the product was located on. This was never argued or refused. I do believe this is also some type of law also? I have always had the price honored at every family dollar where this occurred. One time it was a phone charger with a ten dollar difference but that store recognized their error and remedied the issue. "SoSo," this is her name on her namebadge, and she confirmed it with me, finally came to assist. I tried to explain the situation and she refused to let me speak or discuss the many issues. As for the deodorant which is clearly placed in an area that customers can not access so therefore was not placed there accidentally, she upright refused to honor the price and argued with me, I stayed calm, her voice rose. And refused to honor any of the mispriced items. She was condescending, rude, unprofessional and many other shocking adjectives that are nonconducive to a retail atmosphere. The total amount of the mispriced items is probably four dollars in my pocket. But that is not the point of this letter. It is the fact that this location lacks customer service. They are unappreciative, unfriendly, and I actually cringe going in there because I know the prices will be wrong. That the employees will be rude. The store is a mess. Overall there is a distasteful aura to the store. Most of all, when the price is shown as one price.. The customer is always right in that aspect. Second, they need to get "SoSo" retrained so that she realizes that without the customer she would not have a job. Or she needs to be in a position where she is observing good customer service rather than the horrendous display I had to endure today."
"This place is disgusting the workers have really bad attitudes. Shelfs are empty with boxes all over the floor and inventory carts all in the way in the aisles. I live 2 blocks from here and refuse to shop there. I'll drive to the one all the way on Davie blvd. Unfortunately I had to run there quickly due to the category hurricane Nicole coming ,the juices and milks were all spoiled. Receipt thrown out so there is no returning the product and if i was to attempt to go back and explain I would get the worst customers service ever. Just about every store on sunrise blvd east of the 95 west of the Andrew's is garbage."
