"Fungus anyone?? It’s really sad that I have to leave such a bad review but I want to warn people about this place for their own safety. I was going here for about 3-4 months (way to long) in a row earlier this year. I would get dip on my hands and gel pedicures by Andy. I don’t want to blame Andy specifically as everyone in that salon should be held accountable. However, I ended up getting a severe toenail fungus from this place due to negligence and unsanitary conditions. It took me almost 3-4 months to get rid of it as it spread to all my toes. I ended up having to go to a medical pedicurist. When you go there you will notice ABSOLUTELY ZERO barbicide is used to disinfect the tools, wash brushes or spa basins. They probably still have the same dirty yellow brush sitting at their hand washing station that doesn’t get soaked in barbicide either. My toes were cut with cubicle cutters and hang nails were attempted to be cut out which is dangerous... PS do not let a nail person cut hang nails out of your toes…especially with unsanitary tools. I ended up getting an infection on that hang nail. These people are very lucky I didn’t sue…The owners should be ashamed of themselves. All they do is smoke cigarettes and point fingers when in reality they need to put money and time into cleanliness. Thankfully I have learned to do my own pedicures and manicures because this place has scared me for life!!!! Andy was a great person to work with but the techniques and unsanitary conditions here are unacceptable."

"I never had any problems doing my nails with Kim. Since the last time I was there my nails started peeling off a week after rwhen I paid for deep powder. I'm very dessapointe and i call her to book an appointment for this Friday and she said was too busy when she supposed to fix her mistake. I will never going back to this nail place again. "After my nail technician of 5 years left the country i had once again searched for somene who would understand my wishes, be friendly and coureous and just no have a typical "miami attitude"..(a rare sight, actually) And in 2 months i found her! Kim from Nails Concepts is a gem. She listened attentively to my desires, understood what and how it had to be done and, literally, overdelivered..I am in love. She surrounded me with warmth, giving her undivided attention with no rush; not only she understood the shape from the first glance, but carried it out gently and carefully without me asking to do so, as normally i had to. From the time i sat down to the time i left it was a wonderful experience - there were 3 more clients and 2 more technicians, and we all talked and laughed and enjoyed our time. Thank you guys so much! Kim, im looking forward to our next session, thank you!"

"I went to this salon yesterday because I broke a nail at the beach, and they were the only place open on Sunday past five with good reviews. I didn’t know what to expect because the reviews were mixed, but this place was AMAZING. My nails were done by Andy, but everyone in the store was pleasant and they were interacting with their clients. Andy did such a good job! He didn’t judge me when I told him I do my own nails and he answered any questions I had and even encouraged me to keep practicing and studying! He was super attentive to details that are normally missed like shaping them properly and making sure around my cuticle was smooth and rounded. They don’t do acrylic, but their dip application is flawless, and they feel just as strong. He even added cuticle oil which my poor babies were BEGGING for. I’m so happy with my experience and whenever I’m back in this area, this is where I’ll go."
