Luxury Nails Fort Lauderdale

"I have been here before but it’s been a while. Disappointed experience. Just wanted to do a dip manicure that’s purple. For comparison, I am putting a pic of what I selected and a pic of what came out - 2 very different colors. I wanted purple, got chocolate brown. Not happy about that. The girl who did my nails was so distracted she forgot where she put a coat and where she left off. She never did anything with my cuticles. Luckily, I clean up my cuticles myself. I did like that she applied it close to my cuticles but felt rushed. I also had a lot of nail color and polish residue on my skin around the nails. She wasn’t concerned but I asked her to remove it because she wasn’t going to initially. I felt it looked dirty. I asked to get a gold accent design, I usually get it on dip after the layers and then do a final UV cute on top. She didn’t understand what I wanted and then when I explained it she said that gold wouldn’t look good so she wasn’t gonna do it. I’m just gonna do it myself. Not really worth it to go here if you ask me. I found a few better places further away and I’d rather spend 40 minutes in the car to get it done properly and how I like it."

"My first time at Luxury Nails 1. The color samples do not match actual polish you receive so ask to try before you buy. 2. I have not noticed the tools being cleaned between the customer, not saying they are not but I did not see any UV tool set cleaning stations which got me a bit concerned. 3. Attention to basic detail could be better. I received a basic pedicure and powder dip manicure. Pedicure - I scrubbed my feet recently so there wasn’t much access skin to be removed to start with but I missed a spot at the bottom of my foot near my toes. That part was missed by the technician as well. The polish application was poor too. There is a polish residue on the skin and top of cuticles around the nails. Manicure - I have some beat up skin around my nails from gardening and house project, I was hoping they would tidy my hands up, trim the dry skin around my nails, clean up cuticles but they just went straight for the application while I was still at pedicure station, very uncomfortable. 4. They rushed me for no apparent reason. I was finished 40 minutes before the closing time and it was not busy so I don’t understand what was the rush. 5. I felt the place was not tidy/clean. 6. Technicians seemed to be more into playing chess than their customers. I don’t think I’ll come back."

"If I could give Luxury Nails more stars, I would. I am so happy I found this nail salon. I have been going here for over year and I couldn't be happier. I look forward to getting my nails done by the owner, Tracy. She is an AMAZING nail manicurist and does AMAZING designs on my nails. I show her a picture and she paints it better than the picture. It is like a copy & paste right onto my nails. She does such a great job, that when people see my nails, they are in awe that it is not a sticker and that it was hand done. She is an unbelievably amazing artist. I use Jackie to do my pedicure and he cleans up and polishes my nails perfectly and they last a very long time. I have also used Ben for my manicure and he is also an amazing manicurist and artist. In fact, I have seen other nail manicurists designs done on clients in this salon and I am in awe of the designs that they can do too. I also want to compliment their amazing receptionist Kailynn. She helps me pick my base color and gives me her opinion on the designs I am looking to do. She also knows what services I want and all I have to do is tell he the date and time I want my appointment. She is very professional and greets everyone with a smile. I HIGHLY recommend Luxury nails. You won't be disappointed."

"I can’t lie this is the best service I’ve received since moving to Florida. Even in general it’s hard for me to find someone that can get my French perfect. They either do it too thick or not high enough. Tracy was AMAZING. She even makes her own pink for French tips that looks exactly like your natural nail color. 10/10 highly recommend."
