"I took my car in for a diagnostic because my Check Engine light was on and to see why it was smoking/making a loud noise. The owner, Andres said it was my turbo that needed to be replaced. So I went ahead and got it fixed for a lot more than I budgeted. It was a used Turbo too, which was more expensive than I thought plus labor costs added. I recieved the car 6 days later because they ordered the first used turbo that was a defect. Then they couldn't finish it over the weekend because they happen to close Saturday and Sunday. (I was a little shocked) So I received it on the following Monday where I left the shop with no noise, BUT there was still a little smoke. I called the owner asap who explained that it will smoke a little for a few days and that it is normal. Later that night the car completely stopped in the middle of the road and my husband and I had to push it 2 miles home. I called the owner the next day who asked me to bring the car in. I towed it to the shop where they found that my engine was going all of a sudden. This was extremely frustrating seeing that I just spent a lot of money on a used part and now my engine!??? So instead of the owner trying to help me in this situation, he asked if he could find an engine for me to purchase plus labor. I couldn't move forward because it was very hard to understand how they didn't catch this before and now it's costing me thousands of dollars more. At the end of the day, this shop doesn't do a simple diagnostic check, which should include putting the car on a computer diagnostic. This is how shops determine exactly what's wrong with a car prior to working on the car and so they don't miss anything that'll cost the customer a lot more money. Lastly, while my car was in their hands, they scratched the paint off on my left back bumper. (See photos)"
