"It's a shame that they have the WORST customer service because I really do love their designs. I decorated essentially my entire home in Miami with Modloft furniture. They will be super present and available when purchasing. They will completely ignore you after. I had several initial issues with deliveries being pushed back and I had to call every day for weeks to get any kind of response. Most recently the outdoor coffee table I purchased just lost a huge chunk of the stone. It's only a few months old and no one even sits near it. I very rarely use that area of my balcony. I described the issue and sent pictures to customer service and they replied back (WEEKS LATER) that I somehow did it myself. It tooks several follow-ups to even get a reply. One manager, that I have in my contacts, Juan, because of all my issues promised me he would look into it and take care of it. I followed up with him for 4 months. No reply. It's not worth it and this is not a price point in which they can just treat you terribly. I’ll never buy another piece there again simply because they just ignore you once you’ve paid."

"Update: See the owner response to see a perfect example of the customer service you can expect from Modloft—gaslighting and blame-shifting. Google “spontaneous glass breakage” and you can read all about how when tempered glass is fixed to rigidly, it will spontaneously shatter. Bought a Berkeley table approximately 2 years ago. The tempered glass top on my table spontaneously shattered one evening when we were away. After further investigation, we discovered the glass top was siliconed down to the wood table top by at least an entire tube of silicone (see pictures below). Because the glass is fixed so rigidly to the table top, as the wood expands and contracts it caused the glass to shatter. I spent the next days cleaning shattered glass from my house and cutting my hands and head in the process. Modloft’s customer service was horrific. They refused to apologize, accused me of damaging the table and lying about it, and refusing to answer my questions on how I could get the top replaced. Avoid Modloft and their incredibly dangerous products."

"I have purchased numerous items from Modloft. I do really like the construction and finish on these selected items that I purchased. Astor table in smoked oak, Clinton coffee table in smoked oak, Ludlow bed in gray eco leather and gray oak, Jane dressers and night stands in glossy dark gull gray and the Charlton bench in aged caramel leather. Now there have been set backs and delivery issues but I am very pleased with my choices. Looking forward to our next piece which will be the Sutton Sideboard."
