"I called to see if they had my medication in stock and would have my doctor send my prescription in. The Pharmacist I spoke to was very nice and she said it shouldn’t be a problem after giving her the Rx number. I didn’t hear anything so I called a week later and the Manager I guess picked up this time. He had an absolute melt down saying he couldn’t take on any clients amongst other excuses. I’ve been trying to find someone with my medicine in stock for three weeks now and he showed no empathy. This pharmacy manager is a joke."
"This is the first time I have had to complain about publix. I shop at publix everyday and I mean every day. 2 days ago I went to the one on 38th, ordered a 6inch sandwich with just mayo and cheese. Paid $1.98 which was OK for what I got. But today I go to this publix and they tried to charge me $5.98. The boy asked the manager Susan, and she said yes its a veggie. I explained to her there isn't one veggie on there. She instantly got in her feelings. She wrapped me up a whole 12inch bread plain and tried to charge me $2 and then my other half. I advised her I didn't ask for more bread. She continued to get more upset and began to talk about me to other employees standing next to her as they giggled. She says to me what do you want me to charge you. I advised her what I paid for it at the other location, all for her to say "well they don't know what they are doing, that manager is wrong". Wow, is this what publix is becoming? Or is she just a bad seed that makes them look bad. Her attitude was unbelievable and in front of workers and customers. I went to the front to speak with manager Samir. He apologized for her attitude and advised me he doesn't know if prices have changed. I advised no its been the same at every other publix. Just seems to be a issue in your deli with Susan as the manager. I also stated to him, if I was the manager of the store she would be fired. I advised him I would be writing this review advising him I have close to 2million views on google review, so that's a lot of people who will see this. Also advised I will be calling corporate on Monday. I already pay more than any other grocery store shopping at publix, and I dang sure won't deal with nasty attitudes when I do. P.s get rid of Susan, she's making your deli have a bad name. I will not return but do look forward to hearing what corporate has to say. There are plenty more publix locations, shop at those ones instead or at least the deli."
"Completely unempathetic pharmacist. I was told I did not have a refill for my medication when I called to request a refill. I shared that I do not have any medication left and asked if there are any possible solutions to get one pill while we wait, Erica’s solution: “Go to the ER.” I was pretty appalled at the insensitivity and lack of overall empathy. Publix should really review basic customer service skills with this pharmacist. There are better ways to say “I know this is frustrating, and I’m so sorry, but I really can’t give any type of medication without that refill, even if it’s an emergency.”"
"Pharmacist with brown hair and glasses is very rude. She was all smiles until she saw what medication I was prescribed and then tried to make it hard for me to fill even tho I have been getting my medications filled with publix for years. I normally get the same medicine I was filling today at cvs because my normal publix location said they couldnt order it on a regular basis . And she then seemed to look down on me and judge for taking a controlled medication. I've been taking it for years for a variety of problems. If you have moral issues with controlled medications you should not be in this field. My medicine saved my life. And the very reason why I was having it filled separately at cvs was because of this worry. My doctor pushed me into coming here even though I was worried about how they would try to make it hard for me to fill, but he said he sends all of his patients to this location and they always fill without problems. My concerns were 100 percent right. Just do your job and give the masses their prescribed medication please. I am seriously considering just switching back to cvs next month. Because if I have to go through this every single time just to save 40 dollars I do not think it is worth it. I do not want to feel the way she made me feel again."
"GREAT PHARMACISTS, two HORRIBLE PHARMACY TECHS. I have used Publix Pharmacy for a while. The pharmacists have always been excellent. The pharmacy technicians, especially Greg, should not be bagging groceries, much less working in a pharmacy. My first encounter with Greg was when I walked up to the pharmacy cash register a few weeks ago. He was standing there on his phone. I decided it might be interesting to see how long it took him to notice I was there. I set my watch and it took a full minute and a half until Greg noticed and offered to help me. My second encounter with Greg was when I called to check on the status of my prescription. Greg informed me that he was waiting to hear from the doctor. I informed Greg that he and I both know that isn't true. I told him the doctor is a colleague of mine with whom I had just spoken to on the phone and he had remarked what a nice pharmacist I had. The worst part was with a lady pharmacy tech that informed me that the FDA only allows 9 generic Imitrex a month for migraines and that my "doctor should know that". I asked to speak with the pharmacist and the pharmacist corrected her. THIS IS NOT THE LEGACY THAT MR. GEORGE WOULD WANT TO LEAVE. Greg must be fired immediately and if the other pharmacy tech is unwilling to undergo basic customer service skills training, she should be fired as well."
